कोई मैटर (द्रव्य) प्रकाश से तेज चाल पर तो जब चलेगा तब चलेगा, पहले उससे आधी या चौथाई स्पीड ही प्राप्त कर लो, क्योंकि स्पीड बढ़ने पर द्रव्य का द्रव्यमान बढ़ जाता है। लाइट की स्पीड पर उसका द्रव्यमान अनंत हो जाता है, वो जिससे टकराएगा उसे नष्ट कर देगा और उसका खुद कुछ नहीं बिगड़ेगा। और चूंकि द्रव्यमान अनंत से अधिक नही हो सकता इसलिए किसी भी पदार्थ की चाल प्रकाश की चाल से अधिक नही हो सकती हैं। ऊर्जा की चाल ही प्रकाश की चाल के बराबर तक पहुंच सकती हैं, द्रव्य (ठोस, द्रव या गैस) की नही।

1. I think it is possible to move faster then the speed of light i mean u can never achieve the greatest point of a unit which is not fixed -- just imagine during the big bang the matter was spreading so fast ( at the start ).
