I love this song. Steven Merritt is a genius. I've been on a big magnetic fields kick lately. I probably would have never gotten into them if i hadn't heard this cover on the all time quarterback album. amazing
this song is cool. (heard it on pete & pete.) i liked it so much i got a few of the magnetic fields cds, but much to my dismay, they weren't any good. (at least for my taste.) so if you like this song, consider listening to some of their other songs before you buy any of their CDs!
yeah, i agree with you. the best musicians are the ones who put feeling into every lyric. i love how you can tell that the lyrics mean so much to him. i really hope his music doesn't change once he gets married. inevidably, it will. but honestly, i think i'll really miss heartbroken ben. =)
heard this on the radio...I love how Daniel Handler is like friends with Death Cab for Cutie...it's just such a nice intersection of different art forms. and I really like how they aren't too cool for public radio...!
