@@gyffjogofl7676 There is a routine blood test for potassium. Get the test and see if your level is low or not. According to cardiologist Dr. William Davis, a potassium blood test is reliable and will show whether your value is too low or too high or just right. Note: There is a routine blood test for magnesium as well, but it is not a reliable indicator of whether you have enough magnesium in your blood cells. A more reliable way to tell is to get a RBC Mg test (which stands for red blood cell magnesium). But again, as per Dr. Davis, a routine potassium test is indeed accurate and reliable. And in his experience most people find they have a perfectly normal potassium value and you can bet all these people are not consuming 4200 mg of potassium per day.

There's a notification at the top left of the video stating that it's a sponsored video. I can't mention it "less" because then it wouldn't satisfy the sponsor. The sponsor pays to have it's product mentioned. If I don't mention them, then what's the point of them sponsoring the channel. If you don't like the product per se, buy another product that has the same amount/contents. You might find one or you might not. What about magnesium glycinate. My doctor recommended to take 500 mg because I have issues with muscles and spasms.
Love it and recommend it

Mag chloride 64. What the doctor had me take along with flecainide and metoprolo. That seems ok, didn't notice anything. I took magnesium citrate 100, twice a day , because I ran out. I didn't realize that was a mistake. And it didn't really help constipation
I started taking Naturelo’s Magnesium glycinate chelate. I feel much calmer and have overall less anxiety. But I started waking up at night to pee more than once and I wake up drenched in sweat. I stopped taking Magnesium for just a day and I had uninterrupted sleep and no night sweats. How does this work?
I'd try taking the Mg in the morning and if that doesn't work, take half the dose.
I have been told by my neurologist not to take mg
because it interferes with carbodopa-levodopa.
Do your own research please!
What is that, karbodopa-levidopa ?

I started taking magnesium at night and while it helps me sleep, I’ve had such vivid dreams/nightmares that those wake me up! I guess it’s a sign I’m in deep sleep but that’s causing stress in itself.

What do you suggest to someone whose bp lowers and experiences shortness of breath after taking magnesium of amounts 50 or less mg? I like to put liquid magnesium citrate into my drinking water in the morning and then I have my magnesium for and throughout the day. Hi Adam, I love the sound of this product. I’m using magnesium at the moment but it’s not working so well. After watching your video I went straight to the site to order a bottle to try, especially with 20% discount. Unfortunately for some reason they don’t seem to ship to the UK. Is there a particular reason why ???? Or is there an alternative way to order. Phone not possible. Thanks for your time.
They don't ship because they're an American based company and due to "you-know-what-that-we're-all-still-afraid-of" there's issues with exports.
My Blood pressure & diet have been good. And taking Magnesium will often make me feel my pressure drops down too much while laying down / sleeping, when i get up at night.

hey great video and I'm a big vitamin and magnesium fan myself but just so you know I'm 53 if it wasn't for antidepressants I would probably go insane and have a nervous breakdown my 22-year-old same thing and we both take magnesium not saying it don't help but it certainly would not solve the problem I take magnesium every night before I go to bed magnesium glycinate itfor my daughter I think it does help me relax a little bit at night but definitely does not replace taking antidepressant and I take all kind of supplements so medicine a tool there's nothing wrong with it if you need it
I bought Magic Magnesium Malate 800mg from New Nordic. I took just 1 tablet a day to begin. After 4 days I had to stop as I was feeling really bad, like collapsing.

There are many different kinds of magnesium’s available.. but you have to see which one is best for you.. if your taking more then what you need then it will lower ur blood pressure hence maybe that’s why u felt how u did.
Magnesium is good for stomach acid ????
Magnesium could be problematic if you have compromised kidney function. If in doubt, get your creatinine level and eGFR checked.
Why is magnesium bad if you have bad kidneys ?
@@therealityofthings9574 I believe magnesium can build up to possibly toxic levels when kidney function is poor. That's what I've heard or read. You could ask your doctor for his opinion.

Potassium, you need 4200 every day
@@gyffjogofl7676 There are various experts (e.g. Dr. Berg) that claim we need 4200 mg of potassium per day but I'm not convinced. I think it's one of those ideas that's been propagated and repeated to the point that people start to believe it.
@@Malcolm-Achtman RDA is 4200, that's all I know. I'm here to learn.
I started to take magnesium recently. It helped my mental state. I could feel in my bones. What about magnesium dependency in the long run?

I just took 420mg of magnesium glycinate and my heart palpitations stopped but my blood pressure is 110/57. That should be okay but I'd be nervous about taking more.
I think for females, the RDA(recommended daily allowance) is from 310mg-320mg, 420mg is for adult males. Have you been okay since then? Continued to take them?

There’s a big difference between “magnesium” and “elemental magnesium”, which many brands fail to list.

Thanks for this info. You should have discussed supplement dosing, especially since you said too much could be problematic.

Great reference that explains the tug of war between calcium and magnesium. I think you could have been more up front about the supplement being plugged and/or mention it less. That said, I appreciate your video.
Honestly, it's a good product, but go research stuff and see if you find something else you'd like.
