Did you report the sighting on eBird? It would help the scientists track it.
I reported it to U.S. Fish & Wildlife and to the WCCA, although I never heard back from either so I'm hoping I did it correctly. Is ebird where I should report sightings if I should be lucky enough to see another in my lifetime?
