"Smaller" is absolutely intended to include mobile games. Maybe not exclusively, but I'd argue that 'Squadron'-style games for PC/consoles are going to continue to be rare and not the norm.
Seeing the amount of Star Wars projects in development over the past year or so has got me excited for the future. As much as I’m anticipating the bigger open world games, Respawns fps and strategy game have both got me interested - especially because I need a new Star Wars multiplayer game that isn’t Battlefront 2
You helped get the hype for fallen order back and now i finally have the 100%. if it wasnt for you i wouldnt have come back and get all the trophies. the fly glitch was also helpful.
Only game we need: A game where you play as a Jedi can do the things as in Jedi: Survivor, open world, character customization and of course own a bunch of starships that we know from the films.
I really wish we eventually get a KOTOR3. KOTOR2's ending had so much potential and it was squandered with TOR and its novels. Hopefully, they will retcon those
You do realize, a golden age can only be descibed as such, if in this case the "products" are of good quality. But what we get since 2013 is only shovelware after shovelware. And that won't change anytime soon. Especially not with Star Wars and the cancer Mouse!! Simply "more" products, do not equate to golden age. Quality does!
Quality does, and Jedi: Fallen Order and Squadrons were objectively good at launch. Battlefront 2 has evolved into a pretty good multiplayer game - the problems with it were always unrelated to gameplay. The Mouse doesn't make video games, developers do, and the ones who've been making Star Wars titles the past 5 years have done pretty well. We just need more of that.
Lots of potential for something great there, I think. Something Freelancer like exploring the galaxy’s underworld, we’ve never really gotten that before.
No - I'm throwing shade at the trend in the industry to shamelessly plagiarize anything that's successful. Uncharted innovated in the action-adventure space and suddenly every action-adventure game became Uncharted-like to such an extent that people are vocally tired of it now. It ties into my point that Star Wars games can avoid brand fatigue problems by making their games sufficiently different from each other. Republic Commando, Rogue Squadron, Squadrons, Jedi: Fallen Order, and Empire at War all scratch very different itches.
Thanks for watching! If we start getting games at the pace Disney is talking about, what genre do you most look forward to seeing a release in?

I HOPE that this untitled FPS game is a new Republic Commando. That game was so good and it deserved a sequel.

Quantity =/= quality.
So with EA not getting the star wars license renewed after 2023, does that mean we ain't getting a 3rd game with cal kestis?
Not necessarily - EA is still allowed to make Star Wars games, they just don’t have exclusive rights after 2023.
Key word: exclusive.
If the "small games" they are referencing are anything like the galaxy of heroes mobile game it's gonna suck ass
you gonna do a vid on the new gameplay trailer?
Yep, probably have it out this weekend.

I would like to have an Luke Skywalker game set after Episode VI. Would be awesome.
I just want Empire at War 2

great video
Here's an idea
What you think of game where you play as smuggler

Were you tring to throw shade at Uncharted?
