Wow that place was ginormous! It had a lot of nice things I would have grabbed: the chest at the start of the video, the platter, the trinket box that was next to the the yellow jar at 3:16, the 2 drawer cabinet, the blue kettle and that jade green bowl. I loved it all! So good to see everyone and also pretty Miss Piper! Give her a pet for me and have a good week!
Hi Julie and the girls it's amazing to see so many pieces and items to select from enjoyed going alone with you all thanks for sharing. Prayers Blessings to Julie and Larry and both of your families Hugs Mildred
Julie I love that you got the extract bottle. How cool to have something that was used so many years ago since you love to make vanilla.I inherited some similar bottles from my Grandmother with the extract still in it.
I found the same crock at Goodwill for $3.99. Goodwill spoils you when it comes to pricing! I probably wouldn't have bought that one for the same reasons you didn't buy it. Love your videos.
You are right about the scales. Apparently, they are very popular in home decor right now so the old ones in antique stores are pricey! I also have been looking for one for my kitchen and have bot found one yet that is priced too high!
Yes, 20 was good for the crockery pitcher. 45 not bad for an oldbutter press. I have one that was my husband's great grandparents made by hand with acorns carved in it. It is hard to compare antiques with thrift. Big difference
Good walk through. I dont go to antique stores because the prices are so high. As much as I used to thrift in Houston, I could find vintage things in thrift stores or garage sales. I have 3 of those crock items...large jar w/lid, large pitcher, & smaller pitcher. I got all for $20. They're from Marshall Pottery in Msrshall, Tx. Same color & blue stripes.
I went to my local Goodwill on Saturday to help my son collect things for his apartment. That place was bulging at the seams. Must be summer time clean out time. Found a set of dishes for him and a Dell keyboard for 3.99 that I hoped was still there. Neat place you shopped but I'm with the girls, cant take the heat. As always your nack for decorating is inspiring.
Fun video. I learned if you really love something and it’s not something that’s readily accessible or available to buy it. My husband and I have several regrets where we knew we should have bought it as we had the means and we really liked it and we let it go and we’ve even gone back and every time it was gone. So we learned our threshold of love of an item if it is within our means and it meets the criteria..
I have one of those butter molds. My mom used one of those when she made butter in the 30 & 40's on our farm. I can't believe there charging $45 for it. I just saw one Etsy for $25 and $30. Ebay $14.95+11 shipping. Love your channel, happy to see your antique shopping today.
I enjoyed this antique store. I think $20 was a good price fir the pitcher crock and definitely $38 was a great price fir the scale. The scales I’ve seen are usually around $48/$50.
Lol as your walking I’m telling you oh get that or oh that can be repaired (the chair with the leather seat) I need to come to Texas it’s on my bucket list. Enjoy ❤️🧑🦽👜🧢🥄🍶🥣🧂📿🩻🧺🛒
Great finds. I think the price on the crock and the other items you showed were reasonably priced. I purchased a crock last weekend and paid around the same price and the butter press was a great price for its age. Thanks so much for sharing and looking forward to seeing your mantle decorations for the 4th.
I got basically the same crock at an auction around a month ago for $2. I have no idea how much they typically go for, but I'm sure higher than what I paid. Also, I would have lunged at that scale. I've been looking for one and haven't been able to find any in my area, even at antique stores.
LOL!!! Julie when you said “Geez Louise “…. I thought we only said that up north !!!! LOL!!!! Then the Clowns 🤡 …oh dear! And the picture of the little boy smoking….why is that picture so popular? I see that so often …. I agree…I have NO words ! No way would I pay that amount of money for the wood crate !!! Crazy ! Good price on the Butter Pats! I paid $30 for 6 on Etsy plus shipping was $9…..ugh! ☹️ That was fun seeing all the stuff…love going Thrifting with you ! Poor Kelsey and she has the whole summer…. Sit her in your pool for summer. My first baby was a Sept baby , but in New York State…I enjoyed A/C all day at work and came home to the “ tin can mobile home “ at about 90 inside…. what a LONG SUMMER….. Can’t wait to see you put all the treasures together! Hugs to you !!! ❤️❤️🇺🇸❤️❤️
Thank you Jayne! I can’t wait to show y’all my mantle. I’m in love! Those butter pats were a great find for $4. And yes, poor Kelsey. She’s all baby and he’s a big one already. Hope you’ve had a great weekend. See you Tuesday!
Wow great prices on a lot but some geez Louise is right. Love your channel. You gotta visit this place again. What part of Texas?oh my love the butter pat plates.
Loved the box, my son-in-law had a three foot tall by about 3 foot square box from guantonamo bay that I wanted but he wouldn't turn loose of it, don't know what he finally did with it, haven't seen it lately
P.s. will be mailing your gift this coming week, I added a bonus gift I hope you like, a discontinued item but it has other items in same pattern you can still buy. Enough hints, hope you love them because your videos give me so much joy.
It’s hard to try to thrift/junk in those types of stores. You have to go to every booth if they have different vendors because sometimes you can find buys. There is nothing like a garage sale buy!
You have such a beautiful home ! I especially love your Christmas videos and I can’t wait to see what you do this year. ( yes I know it’s early to be thinking about the holidays but I can’t help it lol). Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your journey!
What are those little tiny plates for? I have a lot from my great grandmother that I got when she passed away, but they are just in my cabinet because I don't know what they are used for. Also, love the video! I'm so frugal now also because I only like shopping at thrift stores! lol I'm like "$10 for a cup on sale??!!! You have lost your mind!!" lol
Those are called butter pats. Back in the day and well prob some places still today. Use them to put butter on and serve with your meal. Thank you so much for watching and yes I’m extremely frugal too!
You found a treasure trove! The prices were kinda all over the place and you got some cute things. I heard you make mention of hutch? Did you get a new one? How did I miss that??
I was worried you'd passed up George Washington! Happy now I was wrong!---I have the 3 steak picks, from a retired nurse co-worker. I liked them even tho' I'd never use them. I'd love to e-mail you to find out if you'd like me to send mine to you for your own backyard barbeque!
We had those brown mugs in the beginning of the video when I was a kid. I guess at 63 I’m an antique? Lol. The more I watched the video the more items I recognized from my childhood either at our house or my grandparents. I’m sure you also know just because it’s an antique market doesn’t mean everything is antique or even vintage. I so look forward to your videos ❤️
Judith, I absolutely agree. I noticed things in there that I knew were not vintage or antique. A lot actually :( It’s ok though. It was a fun little store and I’ll definitely go back… in the fall! lol
Loved the antique store. I can spend forever in those places.
Yes, so fun.
Me too and estate sales!
I can’t wait to see what you do! Yes the crock was too much!!
Julie you have such a beautiful family! It is so great that you all can do things together!!
Thank you so much! I love them so!
That comb in the beginning is a curry comb to comb out horses with. Great for removing loose hair after a ride or work.
Wow, that store was amazing. If it was air conditioned, I could get lost in there for hours. Love your patriotic haul.
Yes it was. And thank you!
loved the doll chair and stroler. I make dolls.
I think a good price for crock. Love what you purchased. Can't wait to see your mantle! 👍🏻💙❤️
I thought it looked like a decent price compared to some of the prices I have seen.
Thank you so much Terry!
@@SJ-ni6iy thank you!

Put that strawberrycoockpot on your patio with some blue flowers for decor
I love the blue design butter pat dishes.
Thank you! Me too!
Love the Washington print. I’d paint that frame blue. Looking forward to your mantle decor
Cats are so contrary!☺️☺️☺️ The heat and humidity in Texas would kill me.
It’s definitely humid
I think I would've grabbed that small American 13 star flag! I thought it was so cute! Yes, good price for the crock. Some can be very pricey!
It was so pretty!
Julie I love that you got the extract bottle. How cool to have something that was used so many years ago since you love to make vanilla.I inherited some similar bottles from my Grandmother with the extract still in it.
I love to go thrifting with my good friend Cindy
I found the same crock at Goodwill for $3.99. Goodwill spoils you when it comes to pricing! I probably wouldn't have bought that one for the same reasons you didn't buy it. Love your videos.

College kids leaving their digs for the summer!

Thank you so much for that and I agree 100%.
Those prices are way to high.
Love the butterpads.
I love to decorate with blue and yellow in summer.
That botle is so cute.
I m happy you bought it
I have one of those butter molds. My mom used one of those when she made butter in the 30 & 40's on our farm. I can't believe there charging $45 for it. I just saw one Etsy for $25 and $30. Ebay $14.95+11 shipping. Love your channel, happy to see your antique shopping today.
Thank you Carol! I thought it was overpriced too!
Great video Julie. I usually don't do antique shops cause they are so high. To me crock was too much . Waiting on how you style it all.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You passed the cocoa pot! It was beautiful!
Must have missed it :(

Yes, the crock was priced right at $20.00. I would have purchased it; so I would have it for patriotic decor.
Cat on the bar...
Thank you for telling me. Yes, she’s bad. I’ve tried everything! Clapping my hands super loud is the only thing that works 😭
It’s hard to try to thrift/junk in those types of stores. You have to go to every booth if they have different vendors because sometimes you can find buys. There is nothing like a garage sale buy!
Yes, I agree. It’s always fun to shop new places and I came out with a few new pieces. And I 100% agree garage sales are THE BEST!
You have such a beautiful home ! I especially love your Christmas videos and I can’t wait to see what you do this year. ( yes I know it’s early to be thinking about the holidays but I can’t help it lol). Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your journey!

Thank you! Yes some things were high!
You found a treasure trove!
The prices were kinda all over the place and you got some cute things.
I heard you make mention of hutch? Did you get a new one? How did I miss that??
I was referring to my little corner hutch I got a few months ago.
You got a deal on the butter pats. I paid $4 for one off Etsy (rip off).
Yes, I thought so too. I love them!

$20.00, a bit much. No no clowns.... LOL
For some things
🥰❤️
The butter mold should have been $15 to $20 at the most.
🤗
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
Those prices were expensive
I paid 25$ for a scale. I had to agree that they are over priced a bit in that shop.
Thank you for your feed back! I’m might keep an eye on it and see if it comes down in price.
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
All things are expensive
I paid $5.00 for my crock.
Wow! Great price.
