nothing worked for me when I try to open Roblox in the browser, it doesn’t even appear in the task manager, and if I open it through the Roblox application it just gives an error, please help me, I did everything as in the video.
Hello, I'm on ArchLinux and this doesn't work for me. Everything here is fully updated, but once I click the launcher for the game, it says Roblox encountered an unexpected error. My CPU supports AVX (I can see it enabled on PCSX2's log menu, it's an i7 3770K). Can you please help me? I've tried every solution out there but to no avail. EVERY other game I tried, works fine...just Roblox doesn't.

@@msmalik681 I ended up getting it to work, turns out I had to install Edge WebViewer2 (from the .exe that's located within Roblox's own folder) manually (through Wine, of course), but for some reason the Servers tab (such as when trying to join a private server), or Settings tab (such as to set light or dark app theme etc) shows up entirely blank (first, white screen, then dark grey screen). Any ideas as to why that happens? Other than that, everything runs really well! And thanks for the reply!
Wow finally, i was going to switch a month ago to fedora with gnome de and i installed grapefruit in a vm and i got the wine is not supported and i gave up on it but now i will go back home (im traveling) and in like 4-5 days ima be home and install fedora because i hate windows 11 and windows 10 is becoming shot aswell cus of the forced update that will make your experience shit if you dont switch to win11
@@msmalik681 well i use windows for better pirated game support and so those game that delete and load parts really fast dobt lag a lot (babft or any tower defense game for example) as my laptop is bad but other than that i use fedora for most of my daily tasks. I only use windows for sideloading apps on my iphone and playing roblox and cracked games.

@Customzz2 you could try waydroid but the performance sucks and the right mouse click does not spin forever so windows dual boot might be the best option for now.

It seems to be a bug with the linux port as windows can ignore it. If i can get my hands on a old cpu i could see if there is anything i can do but i can't promise anything.

If you don't want the desktop shortcut you can cut and paste it somewhere else or delete it and the app is an alternate way to play roblox so yes it will have all updates.

That means nothing to me. Goto your terminal and type: "ldd --version" this should return at least glibc 2.31 you also might get away with 2.28 just test and see.

I installed the program but it doesn't open. I click on play and it says "open xdg-open" instead of "roblox-malik"

Run the wrapper again 3 to uninstall then 1 to install but make sure your on the latest release i just dropped v9 with some fixes

At the moment you need avx to play on linux but not windows so a dual boot with windows 7/8 might be the best option for now.

Guessing your cpu does not support avx so unless you can upgeade to a cpu that supports avx your stuck.

Your cpu does not support avx you could try the vm method for now until it is patched or update your cpu.

There will be a warning when you run the wrapper if avx is missing so if you don't get that your cpu should support avx try using firefox.
