    Awesome content. Unbelievably valuable. Side note: Dave Tate is a great speaker. He exudes a confidence (while not straining to do it) that allows his audience to instantly absorb his message. You can't teach that skill.

    When he talk about max effort work, it remind me of Mike Mentzer High Intensity Training. He actually said they exact samething. Wow.

    @Forsestis not necessarily, more often than not it causes only injury. the secret to mass and strength gains is auxiliary work in high volumes. the pressure max effort puts on joints isn't to be used all the time. it trains your nervous system more than anything, too much will basically fry it.

    i am actually going to apply this shit. that must explain why some days i will break my own bench record, do the same on accessory lifts for that workout, and then every bench i do for that cycle will get worse and worse.

    @azt3c Max out, figure out how much you can do for one rep. Or you can calculate it off of a 3 or 5 rep max. Just google 1 one rep max calculator

    Could be a Freudian slip - the powerlifting gear that EliteFTS carries is Metal.

  • @puttter
    @puttter 12 лет назад

    @azt3c Take your max and multiply it by .9 for 90%, .95 for 95%, etc

    @SuperTuga Portugal ...yes, baldness has nothing to do with genetics, right? Also, studies have shown a correlation between muscle fiber strength and DHT which is the hormone.that causes hairloss. But you claim to be strong so you would know that right?

    What would the purpose of doing a sub-maximal repetition method not to failure? I feel this method would only provide minimal results for a short period before becoming a waste of time. Seems to go against science.

  • @hahaownedlolz

    strong bro science. a week to recover from squats when on steroids (because all these top lifters are). LMAO, hilarious.
    brb who was russian olympic athletes squatting heavy every single day.

    • @MrCGangsta
      @MrCGangsta 6 лет назад +4

      whats your point ? just because they squat every day dosnt mean they are fully recovered

    • @Gallagher.661
      @Gallagher.661 5 лет назад

      Steroids help you recover, so you comment makes no sense lol. Look at the high turnover rate of Bulgarian lifters and tell me it's great

    • @overthebar
      @overthebar 5 лет назад

      @@Gallagher.661 yeah he is talking about ME, not submaximal training. Bulgarian method didnt use ME method, they workes up to a daily training max, on exercises that take less out of you. Doing a 190 kilogram snatch is gonna take less out of you than doing a 420 killogram box squat. Thats why if you do 4 singles, as prescribed, over 90% you take a week down

    Haha no i like to see all peoples views on working out. Im a trainer and I am constantly expanding my knowledge. Thats your job as a trainer is to stay with the times and figure out what works and what doesn't for different types of people. Elliot is the only guy that has off the wall ideas about training. FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH. Remember that. But if you want to find out what its all about Hybrid Strength and Fitness Hawaii, come down I own it. I guarantee i'll make you quit. Sams the name

    A very stupid comment to make. There are times when your back is shot from training it hard the day before, but no matter what you are going to get this legs day in TODAY. So do I risk doing a half ass leg workout because my back is weakened from the day before or do I support it when the weight gets heavier and lift like a man?... Your logic is idiotic if even that. And if you think Americas so weak how come we hold most of the titles...? Hard work baby thats what this country was build on!!

    If you actually bench 540lbs I would've heard of you by now. Also, I find it hilarious how much time you spend watching Elliot Hulse and Alex Jones videos.
    I can tell that you're a neckbeard or young adolescent who probably browses /fit/ and /pol/.
