Definitely a big help. Thanks for the video bro
No problem 👍👍
Outstanding video, I love this tools type of post. I have never considered a TBS knife before but as I know you know what you are talking about then I may go for the folder. I don’t normally collect expensive bushcraft tools but tend to go for mid price things, the exemption being Tops knives as they are well made and very durable as well as the lower price Ontario Knives Old Hickory line which offer good value. I also collected Condor knives as they also were once very good value but not anymore as they are getting expensive for what they are. I think I have seen you using the Wetterlings axes and I have a couple of them but they have now merged with Gransfors so again the prices have gone up. Keep up the good work as you are one of the very best RUclips channels, thank you.
Love your comment, really means alot 👍👍
That folder is badass, Mr.B!
Nice knives 👍
Nice review! I too love the curly birch. Most of my knife collection have this type of wood handles. Including my Mark 2 boar and Casstrom SFK.
Curly birch looks so nice 👍👍
Great video, i love the TBS range of knives! I have the tbs boar that i purchased at the bushcraft show last year. I also have the tbs fox folding knife which is amazing.
I was gonna our purchase another this year but the show was canceled so hoping its still gonna go ahead 2021 so i can make another purchase 👌🏻👍🏻
Great watch mate
You have a great collection 👍👍
I’ve just ordered the Timberwolf Wolverine Pukko. This video proves I’ve chosen the right brand. Can’t wait to receive it.
👍👍
Ive got the MkIII TBS Boar EDC Folding Knife - Canvas Micarta. Proper workhorse. Use this every day!
Good choices 👍👍
love mine
Love my Boars...great quality knives for the price
Right on 👍👍
I like the folder. I use folding knives more than I use fix blades. Now, when are we going to see Buster’s knives? 😉😬😬👏👏👏😘
He would only eat them 👍👍
Good video mate 😁👍
TBS boar was one of the 1st knives I got years ago, was impressed so got the Lock knife version and also the smaller legal carry version.
The Boar is bullet proof, a really beefy knife, strong as hell and because the blade is thick it’s a good wedge so brilliant for Battoning.
It will feather stick but because the blades is a little thick and the bevel of the scandi-grind is a little too narrow it’s not that good for carving [but it will do the job]
…….
I moved onto the Lars Falt a while ago and recently I was lucky enough to get one of Sandy Jacks [wood-lore copy] classics.
TBS have since come out with all their other ranges so I’m keen to look at the Lynx as a carver,
You have a great selection of blades 👍👍
have a TBS bore I got for $170 off ebay, its a good knife
A fantastic long term review. I have bought my wife knives as well. a KA-BAR and a Becker(KA-BAR) Campanion.
Thanks for your comment. Good choice!
Would love a video on sharpening... how you do it. We all have our ways, but as you said, you are not a weekend warrior and need something sharp 24/7 without fuss.
I have clips of sharpening in my tent series 👍👍
I have a first gen Boar, and it's been a good user. However I do prefer the MK2 Lynx, mainly as I find it a bit more managable being that little bit smaller (the mk1 was a bit too small, not bad for a Gralloch knife). Both compete with my Dorset Woodland Blades woody clone. Really rate the stuff coming from TBS. Haven't convinced me yet on the axe front, but I'm choosy there, despite looking for a new hatchet.
Sounds good 👍👍
Brilliant video. The whistling song at the end who is it? please 👍
Song is Loner's Ride ruclips.net/video/V5AHBwANCho/видео.html 👍
Very informative mate, i thinking about a boar but can't make me mind up between stainless or carbon. Which would you recommend?
Depends on how you look after your knives. Stainless is easy maintenance 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan 👍🏻
Do you own that plot of land where your camp is? Like your vids matey being ex Army myself gives me joy to watch someone who enjoys the outdoors!
The land belongs to my friends, glad you liked the video 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan I'm looking to convert a van and do a coastal trip round route 500 to wales. Any tips for Scotland my man?
folding knife is lush , omg that is one big ferro rod dude
A good knife is the best companion you can have in camp? I call BS! Can these knives keep the environment clean by properly disposing of all leftover food? No! Can they alert you to mice in the woodpile? No! Drops microphone and exits stage! Seriously though they appear to be good sturdy tools and I’ve always liked the basic drop point design in knives. Great for your side of the pond; over here there’s nowhere I can go to run my hands over one. I think they are the proper size; and the grizzly is probably not needed because you have very good hatchets and axes to do the heavy lifting. Good review!
Cheers mate well said 👍👍
I'm much more of a fan of the Turkish Walnut
Very nice to 👍👍
dont you go to work
What is that word 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan a swear word lol
Another one wearing a paracord bracelet 🙄....click and off it goes❗️
You're very kind. It's my problem not yours, and I thank you for taking my "comment" in such a good way. Like I said, it's my problem and as soon as I wrote the comment I was like, hmm I wish I hadn't done that. Anyway take care.
