I’m an American citizen seeking to acquire land in Kenya. I would like to know if there is an option to convert leasehold to freehold upon becoming a naturalized citizen?
If a Black American relocates to Kenya, buys a home, marries a Kenyan, and dies some years later, does the surviving Kenyan spouse and perhaps children get the home or lose it when the lease expires?? Or how can a brother relocate to Kenya buy a home and ensure that his family's home, security in the house he paid for is safe from being taken from them, when he dies???
The Black American's heirs or survivors will need to apply for a lease renewal at the end of the current lease. Leasehold tenure in Kenya, is renewable.

Hello Sagaar! Thank you for your question.
We only sell land and are therefore not best to advise on this matter.
Useless answer.
Sorry i would never ever buy or invest - for 99 years is a ripoff.. you don't own anything.
Thank you for engaging with us.
Then what you you say about Ghana, who only allows 49 years lease? Lol
I'd never invest in Ghana. Scam.
I understand why they do this, you dont want to perpetually sell your whole country to a foreign nation who can afford it
