Hi Sarah! I had the same reaction...hmmm good but not great! Then, the more I used them, the more I loved them ! I love Stabilo, I have the fineliners, the bullet tips and the brush pens!
Each Stabilo pen has a color number. aka there is something like "68/54" written on it, 68 meaning the kind of pen, 54 being the color. The color will match across their entire line. So if you get fineliners, felt tips, brush pens with the same color number, it will be the same color. In germany you can buy the brush pens individually in some stores, and I think also on the stabilo website.
Hi Sarah! Great review as always! 🥰 Stabilo brush pens are only 15€ for the 10 pack here in Italy and they're sold at the supermarket too! So you can purchase them while doing grocery shopping! Plus they're pretty inexpensive compared to other brands! I have the 10 pack for almost a year, I love the colors but the tip fraied sooooo quickly on some of them 🙈 I'm a beginner and, for now, I'm more comfortable with smaller tips brush pens. 😊
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing all of that! I could see them fraying soon but I guess for that price, that’s not bad! And I’m glad you know that you prefer small brush pens for now! 👍
I've tried the kuretake brush pens and i love them so much they are much easier to letter with than other brush pens ive tried as a begginer and they come in lots of colors
I love the review. I hated the stabilo fineliners in highschool, so knowing that their brush pens are good is great. Funny enough, in Germany the Stabilo brush pens cost half as much as the Fudebiyori ones.
It’s really cheap in Indonesia! I bought the whole pack but each 1 of them is $0.63 only! And i absolutely love these Brush pens! Definitely my favorite with tombow
In Spain the 10 stabilo pack costs around 10-12 €. I have found regular stationery shops where you can buy an individual brush pen for 1,30 €, so, no need to buy the bigger pack to get the pink or any other =). They are cheap here compared to most brush pens and way easier to find.
I've been waiting for this!!! Everything you said here is what I wanna say about this brush pen esp the pink part! And I actually got stabilo pens yesterday (I only bought two colours to try them) and I really love them, even more than Fudebiyori. I think with Fudebiyori after the pen frayed I really have a hard time to write with it..and they frayed like fast. Oh and actually here, in Malaysia, stabilo is much cheaper than Fudebiyori. So I might bought more colours of stabilo instead of Fudebiyori. I really wish they have pink in the set. Thank you for the review Sarah. Miss you a lot lately.
i've seen amazon US sold them really expensive, you should be able to get the 24-pack for 30-something bucks on most websites (note that there are only 19 different colors, the rest are duplicates. stabilo got manufacturing problems which caused them to cancel the remaining colors)
I loved these at first, then I saw how they ghosted in my thick-papered A & O journal and how the tip wears down with use. A nice medium-sized nib when they are new though.
I had the same experience with my black Stabilo brush pen on tracing paper that wasn't super smooth. But I still love them + they aren't very expensive in Guatemala, where I am
LOVE LOVE LOVE your HONEST review. I was gonna get these ones but I have this shop called WHSmith in my area so I bought a cheaper alternative with 48 colours which work really good considering the price! Also, zebra mildliner brush pens are good I havent tried them but I have seen reviews everywhere on yt and my friend has them too.
I love my 88 fine liners!!! Soooo good for advanced adult coloring books or outlining because that nib never frays or gets soft and will work over top of any medium, even soft core colored pencils and the wax won't ruin the nibs like other markers.
Oh gosh Sara. I am trying so hard to learn from you. You're such an amazing Lettering Queen Pro! I think I'm making progress but then I watch you write... so smoothly and perfectly, no hiccups, no shaky upstrokes... your like watching a printing machine with a human's arm and a hand. How long did it take you to perfect your Lettering skills? I've got ALL the pens and brushes and nibs and books and I still feel my writing looks like 💩 when compared to yours. I know I know... practice practice practice... how long did it take to be your fabulous self? Can you please show us some of your first "Horribly ugly first attempts Lettering?? Please...I have to see it for myself that you're not a Lettering Robot!😂🙃🫠
Hi Sarah, I bought the Karin Brushmarker Pro set recently and I am facing a lot of smudge issues with them. I'm not sure if it's because I use them on watercolour paper or simply because I am a beginner in handlettering and I may be doing something wrong. Do these Stabilo Pen 68 brush pens smudge easily? Or are you able to recommend a brand of brush pens that does not smudge so much? Thanks in advance!
Stabilo will definitely dry faster than Karin markers! The thing about Karin markers is that they're REALLY juicy. It's great for when you want to use them as watercolor but they do take forever to dry which leads to smudging. It's definitely something to be aware of when using them!
Hi, if you have Amazon Prime, you can buy it from Amazon AU, shipped from Amazon UK. Last time I checked the price is A$23.70 for pack of 12 Assorted. Free shipping if the total orders from Prime International is over $49 .
NO WAYYYY! I had no idea stabilo had brush pens!! Amazing video! I just wanted to ask, how long do you think I would have to use them to frey up? If I’m using it on smooth paper.
Me personally, the ink run out first. I use them a lot on smooth paper, for at least 14-15 pages and the ink run out first. They frayed but not too fast..at least for me.
Hiya! Please could you review WHSmith dual brush pens in one of your upcoming videos? They are a bit expensive (where I live) and I am looking to get them as a birthday gift, they aren’t well known so barley anyone has reviews on it :(
If you don't mind online shopping, actually we can buy it from Amazon AU, shipped from Amazon UK. Free shipping for total international orders over $49 if we have Amazon Prime.
@@EnsignInsights I know. I contacted stabilo over it and although the tin shows a picture of a pink they had to recall due to a problem with the nibs and hand put duplicates in instead. They replaced the pale yellow, light orange, light blue, peach and pink for 5 others that r already in the pack 🤦🏼♀️
I love them so much! I think they're cheaper in the UK and more readily available than the Kuretake.
Oh yes! Aren't they surprisingly good??
I think they are. Definitely my favourites, along with the Zebra mildliners.
Ooh that’s good to know that they are less expensive elsewhere! Because that was literally the only thing for me!
But it's very costly in India...! Its cost 1.5k here😢
I found these in wilko (8 pack) in clearance for £1. They’re so good though I haven’t used them much because I’m too lazy to practice my calligraphy
Hi Sarah! I had the same reaction...hmmm good but not great! Then, the more I used them, the more I loved them ! I love Stabilo, I have the fineliners, the bullet tips and the brush pens!
Yes! That’s so funny you can relate to that first reaction! Stabilo really is such a great company! I’m so glad to have found these brush pens!
Me also! 😀👏🏼
I think fudebiyori is expensive in my country but stabilo are decent. So that’s why I will buy stabilo brush pens.
Thanks for reviewing them😊.

Yes! I agree about the Fudebiyori. That’s great that the stabilo are cheaper for you!!
I’ve been wondering about these pens! They seemed expensive on Amazon, so I’m going to wait until there’s a sale or see if I can find them elsewhere
Good plan!! They really are so good if you don’t mind the cost!

Those are great for beginners in lettering.

First! How ya doing, Sarah? These pens look cool! I’m adding it to my wishlist.

I feel exactly the same way. I’ve been practicing for awhile, and my lettering still sucks. I get so discouraged sometimes.
I had been thinking about these pens for a while, thanks for a great review 😄
Yay! If you get them, you’ll have to tell me what you think!
I love these! my favorite large brush pen!
Great video! Do you know how long they last- do these brush pens fray quickly?
That is really pretty good gold marker. So shiny!
The most beginner friendly pen I’ve tried are the Platinum Color Duo watercolor brush pens. Hope someone could access and review them.
Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to look into those!
I love all of your videos but I seriously need to know where you got your clipboard???? I have to have one!!! 😋
I got it from TJ Maxx! So I don't have a link... But the brand/designer is Clementine I think! I see their stationery a lot and it's so cute!
