How would you define Beatle mania? "I couldn't define it. A lot of people have tried and I'm not going to try. Leave it to the psychologists, let them get it wrong." If I were the interviewer, I would have asked him: How did you get so wise John? :)
Watching videos from over half a century ago, you can tell why they became so massive...They ooze charisma, everyone of them, personally...They were all witty, cute, funny, and it comes across even in old footage. And that's just talking about them as individuals, and not their music...
