Delaney, it's Lihar from the Facebook groups. I'm not a huge Thor fan, and yet bought this statue the first chance I got. It's exactly as you said - the base is one of the best looking bases I've ever seen. The statue itself is amazing overall, and I'm super happy to have him in my collection. He is currently next to a 1/3 scale Prime 1 Harley Quinn, so same problem as you. And I carried the box BY MYSELF from my front door, through the house, up a flight of stairs, into my home office - I'm not sure how the 92 lbs. box didn't destroy me. And remember, I'm a fat 37 year old, so definitely not Thor, LOL.
@@thesecretsanctuary I have Captain America from the line in transit, and yes, I'm going to grab the green Hulk...with all three torsos...and the gray Hulk too...and the Iron Man...don't tell my wife.
Great review, Jeff. Your appreciation really comes out in your reviews. He really is tremendous and incredible. My box is in the basement. Would not fit through the attic trapdoor. I have 2 1:3 XM-LBS Caps. Sold a Prime 1 1:3 Batman Arkham Origins and 1:3 Iron Studios Superman....loved them both but just not enough space. Now going with the Tweeterhead and XM 1:6s. Have 1:4 XM Cap, Iron Studio Cap, Sideshow SS. Waiting on Queen 1:4Iron Man Mark I and Cap Winter Soldier.
@Secret Sanctuary The XM-LBS Hulk(s) look absolutely fantastic but are so huge and heavy, I won't be getting him/them. Not to mention, I don't want to have to rent a storage unit for the box! Yikes. The 1:3 Iron Man, I don't think so. For the price, and with having to lift the torso to turn on the battery operated light effect, not a fan. I may be crazy but I don't think it is as good as the Cap or Thor. I bought a 1:6 Iron Man Classic by Kotobukiya and really think it looks better than the 1650 - 1900 XM-LBS 1:3. All so subjective, though. I also started, a couple of months ago, collecting 1,3 & 5 oz Silver DC and Marvel Coins to display with the statues. Really cool and economic on their footprint. I recall having also to unpack Thor and carry him upstairs in sections. I never could have gotten that box up there.
In my opinion, this is, without question, the best Thor statue ever made. The base is extraordinary. Best base I've ever seen. The only reason I passed on this piece is because I knew I would end up also picking up Captain America, and Iron Man, and Hulk, and who knows who many others that will follow. And I just don't have that kind of display space or $$$. Congrats to you Jeff and to all those that picked this up. This is a true masterpiece and the centerpiece of any Avengers or Marvel collection. Enjoy.
I'm continually amazed at how close our tastes coincide in what constitutes fine art. I've been following you for a while and only maybe once did you and my taste differ in a statue. It was the base of this that caught my eye as well. I didn't get it simply because it doesn't fit my collection but if it it did I would have purchased it myself. Congrats on the pick up. He looks great and that base is just mad good. Maybe even too good as it takes away from Thor himself.
This is the most impressive and beautiful base I’ve ever seen on a high end statue. It’s next level and just artwork to behold, The only thing that is a little odd to me is that the base is so magnificent it takes attention away from the thunder god standing on it haha. Congrats on the piece its an instant classic.
Always love the videos Jeff, im really hoping a few of the PFs i have coming between oct-dec dont also suffer the same fate as Deadpool and drag out like this.

You going to grab one of the Hulks to display with him?

@@theinferno18 you must have more space than I do!
@theinferno18 congrats, I have the Grey , classic , and rage versions coming. All three full statues.
@@ovp3664marooned Nice, awesome for you! Since then, space has become more of an issue, so for me, only Gray Hulk is on preorder!

That base has a simple shape but so detailed
My favourite Thor ever, and one of my favourite statues ever. Love this in museum style. Big congrats on this!!!
Best classic Thor out there IMO. Congrats!
Great base. I wish more statues had more detailed bases. Congrats on this one.
Great review and an even better statue! Congrats Jeff!

Nice pick up! 1/3 scale is too big for the real estate I have though.
Congratulations this is a awesome piece.
