Looking at getting a cube emtb Probably the reaction pro 625. The dealer was telling me I wouldn’t feel any lag when the motor cuts out at 15 mph. Is this right, surely I’ll get some.
let's address the elephant in the room... money. EMTBs have reached absurd prices with the higher end stuff being comparable to motocross bikes... and I don't think that is justified at all. On top of that: availability... I would actually prefer a Bosch motored bike, but I can't really chose. After setting budget, frame size and a few key components like brakes that actually work.. there isn't much left to chose from- at least this season
Your right, when they reviewed the new KTM ebike, I looked on their site and their ebike was more than some of their motor bikes. I can't see how a bicycle costs more than a motorbike. What I do know, from inside information is that the mark up is massive on all bicycles, over 100% in some places. The cheapest full suspension bike with a Bosch motor I have seen was in decathlon it was under £3k but I think it's closer to £3.5k now, but it always seems to be out of stock, that's still a big chunk of money.
I'll second that, hopefully heavy competition will push prices down to an average man's affordable wallet, unfortunately the absurd price market will continue until popularity slows down greed will remain £££££
Yes! It was featured on "Where in the world" a few shows ago. I'm limited on which bikes are available to me as I'm only 5ft and love 29ers. Have a 2020 Orbea Wild FS H20 S/M with shorter dropper, shorter stem so it fits.
That's a brilliant bike! That's great that you've made the switch to 29er. It sounds like you've managed to get the perfect setup for your height as well! Thanks for the support! 👍
The unfortunate reality is that no matter what brand/model/spec might appeal, you are restricted to what’s in stock at your LBS if you want to test ride and buy it this year!
I would like to see a seat set up like the Kuberg ranger on a downhill mtb, I think it would solve a lot of problems and look way better. Bike at time 2:52 and most trail bikes in general.
Steve you managed to get a ride on the Flyer Panasonic 95 Nm but looking at the Valeo Motor and gearbox artisan ebikes are worth further investigation.
Another great show guys 👏 could you possibly mention if you know just how long someone might have to wait fir the Bike I've been waiting 3months for my Heckler, its killing me 🤣 what's going on with waiting times ? Thanks lads be safe Biff 👊👍
@@VenoXj1The Cube 140 HPC can be found very cheap (comparatively). I almost bought one here in Australia for $6000AUD which is 3800usd. Ended up buying a hard tail instead though. The Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro, which was 3500aud or 2200usd. I would have loved the 140HPC, but I commute on my bike a lot so it's not worth it really.
Does anyone know the focus 150 jam with the öhlins suspension at 7:41 ? I’ve never seen this bike before and I can’t find it on the Focus website either
This channel likes to push the fact you need a certain bike for certain riding, which I find bizarre, this is mountain biking, you don't know what you will come across, the terrain varies along the route. It's just nonsense, I have always ridden a hard tail, and I have never been anywhere, where I have thought I need a certain bike, I just ride it regardless.
You are right, you don't need a fully. But, for me personally, since I've gone fully I won't go back. I didn't see him saying you need Bike X for task Y. There wasn't anything pushed upon me watching this video. You just took it at a personal level I guess.
Do you run a Bosch-powered system? Share your rig with the EMBN community down below! 👇

yes, riding a 2022 Trek Rail 9.8 XT and absolutely love it.
My cx second gen is still performing like day one since 2017 . My next ebike will be a Bosch cx 4th gen.
Orbea is from andorra, not Portugal, unfortunately. Nice videos, as always. Thanks for all

Bosch all the way, 15 month and 1200 miles no problem with the motor/ battery, only replaced tyres- pads and bearings.

I have a 2022 CUBE Stereo Hybrid 160. Riding is so much more fun in every way than it’s ever been for me.
so you never rode anything before then?
Why is it you never cover hardtail emtb’s on this channel I love my cube reaction exc hardtail
Cause ITS hard. WHO tf wants that in the trail. Only good Thing is uphills thats jt.

I wonder if Bosch does any testing on a e-mtb. Looking at their big ass controller one might think they don’t have a clue.
Ridden them all and this is the best motors- hands down

Just got the Canyon Spectral cf8 on with Shimano EP8 and it's a total weapon 🥰
Rattling Monster ep8. Thats why i still Ride e8000. Maybe Bosch or pwx3
good luck with that ep8
Great show and informative As always thanks very much 👍
Currently in the USA bike festivals are few and far between and demo rides are slim pickings.

Easy to use and hold weight up to 300 lb
I like more the hardtail options. Not everyone has €8000 in their pocket.
You don't necessarily need 8k€ to get a fully from a well known brand. My 2022 Cube 140 HPC wasn't even close to 8k.
