You can do that on Google Earth Pro software. So export your data in KML format from QGIS and use in G E Pro

If you want to install the OpenLayers Plugin, navigate to plugins --> settings --> check "show also experimental plugins'. A new option called 'new' should appear on the left hand menu and you should be able to see it there. Note that it is still in the experimental stage.
