Well, so much for a redemption lol. Excited for next time though. Looks like it's gonna be one crazy month in gotchard
ey we still got some episodes left, plenty of time to redeem.
i kinda like how with gotchard it feels like when it rains it pours. like the whole point is empathy, but the world keeps throwing shit at them and they gotta get through it.
This was a really fun episode, cool to see Sabimaru doing the binding alchemy like Professor Minato. The confirmation of the sisters being homonculi was nice to have and this was later than I would've expected but we're starting to integrate the Legend special into the plot (I hope Kajiki meets Butler).
She may not be the best suited for Dread Type 3 but this episode reminds us that Clotho still possesses the power of being the best at fighting everyone untransformed. Love what this episode does for her and Houtarou's dynamic and that we see what they're about pure and simple. Houtarou continues to try empathizing with her, the enemy and you already covered what Clotho secretly wants but refuses to admit. Also I never expected that the heroes' insert song would play for a villain/antagonist but here we are and I gotta say I like it a lot.
Dread Type 2 really suits Clotho and I love how she declared that it'd be enough to take on the opposition, a great adaptation and seeing the two rival suits fight alongside each other was phenomenal. It's a conclusion that really fits her I feel and while she refuses Houtarou's offer and said she was just using him, I think her declaration of beating him next time is her way of showing him respect. I was hoping she'd continue to mainly use Type 2 and perfect it but the new power up she gets is great as well. Looking forward to the next conflict with Hundred and seeing the other shows' suits in action!
its kinda neat to see just how their teacher is impacting them.
clotho really needed this episode. she has been the muscle base for some time, getting that depth was really good. also just really showcasing hotaros emotional maturity.
i think with dread, each mode fits a different rider. base feels like sabimaru, 1 is minato, 2 is very much clotho, and 3 is geryon. and yeah clothos new suit looks great. put it in the toku pantheon of great bad guy lady costumes.
Curious to see what type of roll the Abyssal King is going to play in the story he's probably going to be the "final boss" so to speak so it's going to be interesting to see what happens after the legend crossover is done and yeah Houtarou trying to help Clotho is really interesting I wonder if we're going to see a arc of Houtarou trying to break Clotho out of her need for power very interesting to see what's going to happen next
i can see final boss, IDK just a gut feeling geryon is gonna return somehow.
and with rinne empathizing with atrepos and hotaro doing the same with clotho, i bet they either all get saved, or do a bitter sweet thing and lachesis and clotho get saved,, but atrepos does not
Homunculus were bound to come up when alchemy was involved. Anyone who has watched Fullmetal Alchemist would've already clocked that's what the sisters are.
Bad guy commander dude still has the Zi-O logo on his helmet's forehead. I knew i recognised those suits but couldn't recall which series. Their colours and shoulder armor also remind me of the Maganac from Gundam Wing, the commander even has a similar horn. (commander horns being common in the Gundam franchise)
Oh hey, Ichinose went to one of his normal combos over Fire or Platinum. And it was one of the bulky suits to boot, which is nice. And then Ufo-X, it's a special day.
Even if just a cameo as a henshin prop; Hopper1/Crosshopper is adorable ^_^
Ah, so the returning Dark Riders are just the forms being used by new people.
Also golden boy gets his super form.
yeah, it was never a matter of if just when. jus nice to get solid confirmation.
i know some are seeing the hundereds as plot derailment, but it feels like how life just breaks when you dont need it. car breaks down AND THEN you break a tooth kinda thing.
