My cousin does this for a living. I asked him for some tips so i could flip some bikes and make some extra cash and he basically told me to fuck off. We dont even live near each other. Now im devoting my life to selling e bikes purely out of spite.
Smart cousin. You will go broke. the quality issues with ebikes priced below $3000 will eat your pocket book alive. and there are no techs who know how to repair them.
better idea ... start ebike/bike repair mechanic at customer house... team up with local bike shops... train 2-3 apprentice, refer customer to them get commission.
Great Video ... I was a little worried when Gary left ... I am sure now that the Magic Pie's have GREAT management thru Golden Motors ... I have bought 3 kits and am VERY happy with all of them ...
Golden motor, I would love to be a part of this amazing industry. It has been somewhat of a dream of mine since I was a child to work with bikes. Now that e-bikes are taking over, it has peaked my passion for bicycling in general. I have an ecotric fat tire folding bike and it's a blast for being a beginner bike. Any tips on how I can get into the business would be greatly appreciated. It's hard to find a way to do it with little to no capital. However, service would be a great fit for me with a little bit more knowledge! Thank you for the inspiration!
I was looking to put some on the streets in tech and city centers in my area. For local travel. Something akin to the Lime scooters of DC. There isn't anything in my area like that yet but we are growing and I feel like we can use it.
Hello reaching out. Lol service sector.. I just built first ebike! I'm skilled that way. I can build batery pacs.. learning how to weld next. Will come naturally.. I think ebikes the future. Selling houses and like to open up a custom bike shop.. but starting in service best approach. Any help? Thanks and God bless👊👊💪💪
I'm am EXTREMELY interested in getting started in the service sector as well as bringing a rental service to my area and would LOVE to have any insight you could provide!
I’d like to speak with someone directly about starting a service shop initially and then evolving into a parts and bike dealer. Waiting to hear back from sur-Ron at the moment. I currently have a shop and motocross track on my property for testing and tuning. Also do you offer consignment on any of your inventory?
Thank you for that video, I would like to start a service business and I would really appreciate your help, I have a mechanical engineering background and I am very handy, how would I contact you to discuss more details, I live in Atlantic Canada by the way
Thanks for the content of this video! Currently we own a store that carries computers, phones and many more electronic gadgets but we wanted to dive in adding or re directing our business to ebike business. Is there any way we can maybe chat privately so we can discuss this further? Thanks so much!
Where does one get the skills to work on bicycles and the new electro I'd ebike equipment??it's like an unregulated skilled trade so it's hard to find a pay to learn class I know-mCalifornia has a bicycle s hook but their so expensive you'll go homeless getting trained..I wonder if I can learn-the-bicycle-stuff online and get hands o. Training for the ale tonic components
With how fast he will start you, you can start yesterday. What are you waiting for? Don't have the capital to start a biz, how about start repairing them first, don't worry about the liability involved with e-bike repair... that's not your concern. Ever wonder why most bike shops won't touch internet bought ebikes... well, after a few repairs, you'll know why.
