I really like the overhead shot, not many smiths do that, and it offers insights into how they're hitting the metal.

Glad you have a new post, I have missed you and your no hype demonstrations. I knew you were going in a different direction that would provide some financial support. Glad to see you are still working, you were one of my favorites.

Hi Some day I must copy your bending tool . I enjoyed the music choice.
I once copy your forage pot.Once had a problem but as I am working with it now very satisfied with it.
Started having trouble making tongs think you might be the best teacher for tongs asy next try I will try as you start with the jaw end first.I did make wolf jaw tongs but didn't open the V notch enought or make jaws dia. big enough.
Hay I say again Sir thanks 👍

Great video, I like the addition of the overall point of vue, it helps understanding the stance you put behind your hammer efficiency.

Glad to see you post a video! I have never used wolf jaw tongs, so I have no opinion on them. I do love watching how tongs are made!

Love your videos. How did you do the offset to get the jaws to line up.

At the beginning of the video I'm holding up the ruler that I use to measure all the offsets quickly at the anvil. On a good day careful measuring will have everything come out perfectly but even on bad days measuring is the only way to keep them close enough so you can make them come out alright. You can check out the full length videos in my playlist for this project.
