Ayy reverse ❤❤ also don't let people confuse you. Vertin doesn't time travel time moves backwards on its own, and no, we didn't go to 2007 BC it's just "2007" in that part of the story

I rarely play Gatcha but Reverse1999 got me captivated with the story and animation
I suggest playing it in English as you miss out all the accent in the CN/JP versions. Also the characters talk in their mother language when they are alone or with some else speaking it.
Yeah Vertin is the Mc - we can sometimes chose how to respond but it plays out more like a visual novel.
I love Vertin the most in the game. Her ep song will hit you harder while playing the story
One of the few gachas that's "meant" to be played in English. As in English is its original dub.

52:54 For gameplay, UTTU is essentially a part of every event (so far) that's catered for late to end-game players to fight challenging battles in exchange for event currency used for obtain the free skin that's noted in all trailers, as well as other useful materials. Usually it is opened up around the halfway point of the event.
During the event you obtain and roll for FAME cards that you equip to your Arcanists (and another card that's equipped to Vertin) usually as buffs or gives more cards/options, with the goal usually to make some busted combination of units and cards to deal with the last few chapters of the UTTU, which can get really challenging.

The rates are so bad in R:1999!? lol no. I mean compared to what? I don't know Arknight's rates, but R:1999's rates are 2.5 times better than Genshin Impact's, and the pity is 70 as opposed to 90. On top of that there is no weapon banner, so pulls are for characters only; and they give out a ton of free pulls. Not trying to start static, just correcting the record because that's complete nonsense. That take was so aggressively wrong I felt compelled to say something.
1.25% for 6 star, hey that's pretty good compared to 0.02% for genshin, and for Arknights the pity is 200

I had a feeling the rates couldn't be that bad after someone told me the pity was at 70. I think people compared it to Nikke's high rates, but Nikke is dependent on dupes.
The skins in game cost about 15 dollars, so it’s quite cheaper then some other gachas. The more recent skins have new effects and voice lines, but the older skins are being updated.

also that one comment about the rates. I'm f2p and I got every 6* except the meta ones (and I feel like a fcking clown) no joke. The rates arent that bad at all. The only issue is the grind. I cant build them at all lmao. But do note that its a side game and only needs 30 mins max of your time and an extra hour if youre there for the story content they keep popping up
its very friendly with its fanbase, but they really put it out there with the skins in bold letters "Your support is appreciated" I love this game so much
Everyone has said that the rates aren't that bad! I'm excited to see them myself!
This is two months late, but I REALLY have to add that even with the grind, at least it's not RNG based because character builds only need you to level up a unit's Resonance/Reasoning, which in turn will provide you with customizeable stats along with it.
Also, to add on to the f2p comment, it is quite f2p friendly as you only need to roll for units because all the "weapons" (called Psychubes) are free and can be gotten through events, and if you missed the event they're eventually added to the ingame shop.

if you really want to play this game choose EN because sometimes each character speaks in their own native language with an accent thus making the game rather unique
Im surprised nobody mentioned pretty ezra IS actually a boy... Then again its one of the points discussed in the event among other things in the 1.5 event hehe

@@Hayami_VT in the recently passed 1.5 limited event the main characters introuced Spathodea & Erza parallel each other when you saw them! One is a tomboyish fiery girl and the latter is a calm, intellectual and soft spoken pretty boy; these two are adorable together especially due to the contrasts... to the point that Ezra being mistakan as a pretty girl is a point in the story AND has successfully fooled both Spathodea and the players as the audience lol (running gags aside, their new friendship and bond in that event was one of the greatest highlights in the event imo!)
2:25:00 Nah TFairy is not evil, but not because the faeries would be evil or anything (like, doing bad stuff to someone bad will not make you good) but yk, they're flying medicine essentially.
besides the EPs there was also an official short fan concert recently with covers and new original songs etc...
