Yeah one of the top logbait player does regularly the same move, he must be stupid of course this is the only explanation.
He puts the cannon in the middle so it cannot be logged or attacked by other troops its only purpose is to tank the xbow as even if it was in range it would get blocked anyway by enemy troops.
