Jesus Christ this was impressive. That's not an easy song to sing and she did it flawlessly while playing the piano. I really love when artists can reproduce their music without the need for studio magic.
I wish Evanescence would release acoustic versions of their songs. Not that I don't love them already, but when you hear a song performed like this, it is beautiful in a different way to how the album version is performed. The album version of Lithium has more of a thrashing anger undertone to it due to the guitar and drums (which is rather poetic, as depression can be caused by the inability to release pent-up anger.) This version is more sorrowful (the violin in the beginning is chillingly beautiful) and I personally think that it could have been a brilliant B-side extra track like a hidden side to the song.
Funnily enough this video was actually (sort of) a B side on the longer Lithium EP/extended single, but I agree, this could easily have been a B-side audio track in its own right (they need to re-release yet another version with just this combination now :P). Absolutely spellbinding...
Her voice is absolutely incredible. Probably one of the most talented/experienced people I've ever heard sing. AND she is playing piano at the same time. Unreal human being. Bravo.

There are times during their concerts that it seems she's struggling, probably due to the fact that she's very active on stage, running around and head-banging. But when doing performances such as this, she's flawless. If she could find a balance between the two, that would be stunning. Either way she's one of the most talented artist working today.
