Very fun!! Do fire skinks spend most of their time buried? 🤔 I'm looking for something that size, diurnal, and at least somewhat active. Thoughts ...?
They hide pretty much all day to be honest! If you want something similar, I'd say a Schneider or Berber skink! They're the same shape but with a different pattern & color but those ones don't burrow as much!
Also, you can just run your fingers through the dirt with the fire skink & find it in no time 🔥 they like being handled normally! 🤘

Not a problem! I had one in my education roster at my old job, such a good animal to handle! 🔥😁 Btw the Schneider & Berber are pretty much the same thing, one may be a tiny bit bigger or smaller than the other, but I really haven't ever seen one smaller than what Blaze is! 🙌 At MOST, it'll be a bit smaller than speedy!

Ive never seen an enclosure that shape used for a bearded dragon what’s size is it ?
Well, it's an octagon so, the dimensions are weird, the opposing sides are 3ft apart in every direction, I call it a 3x2x3, but that would mean a square technically 🤔🤣 they're Hagen tanks from the early 90's, they've since been discontinued unfortunately and even then, I believe they were sold to pet shops exclusively!
Noiceee thanks for the info bro gona look into them surely .I’m tiered of the same looking box shaped enclosures that are provided for bearded dragons like these animals can climb and are even seen on fence posts so having a vertical heat gradiant makes sense . at the lower lever makes for a perfect area for a hide id tint the lower end for my beardy just for privacy but might not be stunning to your visitors eyes , great vids bro waiting on some other ones to watch while I feed all my pets lol
