Hard to find the words to describe how prodigiously great this album is. Flawless compositions and thoroughly engrossing performance. Props to the sound engineers too - the mixing and clarity is top notch.
Damn, the name of the project suits so well to the album. Everything is so great, it's like going on a journey. Ty to Jasmine and all the crew behind this album, it's been a long time, I didn't enjoy a WHOLE album that much ❤ (1000 Miles, my personal favourite)
I clicked on "Horizons" due to the consistently astonishing output from Gondwana Records. I was NOT disappointed. Thank you, Jasmine (and Matthew) - I'm playing it loud enough for 3/4's of the street to hear during the current UK heatwave, hopefully it chills the neighbourhood out.
Cool, sexy, intellectual, wears its classical allegiances on its sleeve, original without trying too hard. Like the Brian Blade Fellowship and ECM records had a baby. Gondawana Records is already a superb curator of the New Interesting but this is exemplary even for Gondwana.
WOW this record is stunning big up all at Gondwana for all the fantastic music you put out and all the amazing talent at the label you guys never seem to disappoint 🙂also big up Jazz FM for putting me up on this album
This album is so beautiful. I kept hearing parts of other songs I know in the opening track "Prologue". Listen to Bonobo's album "Black Sands", the tracks "Prelude", "All in Forms" and "Stay the Same". Jasmine Myra's song is not a cover in any way, it is original, fantastic music, and I'm happy to find similarities between this album and Black Sands, as both are incredible works. I like to think that I hear lots of incredible influences in Myra's album, like Pat Metheney, Dave Holland, Roy Hanes, Stromae, Alfa Mist. The level of each musician is world class. I can't even finish the album because I keep playing the first 3 songs over and over again, haha. About to play the last 5 songs over and over as well.
Such a beautiful airy album! There is so much freedom and expression in the arrangement. Totally love it! This is prefect album to be playing in your car on a nice easy drive on a hot Summer day! THANK YOU!
Primeiramente uau! Meus parabéns... que delícia poder ouvir jovens talentosos fazendo boa música e de verdade! Salve, saúde sucesso sempre... Forte abraço a partir do Brasil!
Le label est distribué en France par Bigwax mais leurs disques restent extrêmement difficiles à se procurer en boutique; même chez les "disquaires" "jazz". Pour ma part j'achète directement sur leur site pour éviter les galères.
I'm really excited to be one of the few internet listeners to enjoy this new album so far! I wanna thank the gods for Gondwana Records. ;)
This label has gotten me to enjoy listening to music again
日本人です。偶然このアルバムに行きつきました。「地平線」というタイトル通り、この切ない気持ちがどこまでも広がっていくように感じます。美しい曲をありがとう!
I was around in the 1970's, an amazing fertile time for new music. This album and this label are part of a new fertile time.
Jasmine Myra is a remarkable talent. Thank you.
Every artist on this beautiful label should be household names by now.
This album is a joy and light of life for me. I'm happy to have found these instrumentals.

I have been listening to nothing else but this label all week after coming across them for the first time. Need to get the wallet out for Christmas.
'1000 Miles' and 'New Beginnings' got me really excited for this new album. Gondwana!

This reminds me of golden era Ninja Tune, for some reason? Stunning album, absolute milestone.
I would really like to know what was the inspirations behind, "Word Left Unspoken" & "Awakening"?
dope
Sublime voir subliminal.
