@@Ryansacrobat He said in the vid at the mall you could pay with credit card and make payments for small purchases. I was surprised since I have heard most people in Japan dont use credit cards.

This was by far my favorite Eric meal time. I hold cherry blossoms close to my heart because as a child I planted two saplings in my front yard. It brings me back riding through all the pink petals on my bike during the fall.
Drinks a whole bottle of iced tea. Then says better not drink too much. I love Eric so much.

I was fortunate to go the Japan during the Cherry Blossoms season and in my final week the petals were starting to fall and it was beautiful and really did look like snow. Will definitely go back during this season again.
You have got to have an iron gut :-) To eat that many different types of (all) kinds of foods, from every end of the spectrum (veggies to meat to fish...), in such a short amount of time - you're my hero! When I was there, I had to take things slow, as it was definitely an experience to try so many new and unusual flavors/tastes. I think next you need to invest in a good felted mic so the wind noise won't be so bad :-)

I remember the one similar to this from when I backtracked & watched all the Meal Time videos in one day! These made me want to try the Bento boxes at my local Japanese restaurant in my small town. Especially since I found out the family who owns & runs it came to America from Japan less than 5 years ago. Sadly they don't have the authentic ramen that I have been looking for but the family is so nice that they told me a few days ago that they do make it at home & have intived me!! Thanks to these videos I know how to act appropriately!

Finally!! Got to see your video!! I love cherry blossoms! Japan is just gorgeous! I like making bentos at home for the kids lunch. They always get the questions. I think they like explaining to people about different cultures. Thank you for helping spread that message of peace and love.

Why can’t the food in the USA have such nice presentation.
And they seem to very reasonably priced.
US wants quick, plenty, easy, for cheap price. Preparation takes time.

Occasionally I make my own version of a Bento Box for my sons lunch 😊 He's in Kindergarten and thinks they are the coolest things ever! I love seeing all the different kinds so I can come up with new ideas to add next for him!

That green tea looks so delicious! I've been on a kick with it lately, but I wish I could find authentic Japanese green tea here in the states. Also so envious of the Hanami celebrations. We have a cherry blossom tree across the street from us in someone's yard, along with a bunch of lilac shrubs, that we have the fortune of admiring from afar every spring, but that's all lol.l

Cherry blossoms are so pretty. I remember bringing some home for my Mum when I was little thinking my mum will love these. Omg she screamed get them out the house there unlucky to bring indoors. Who else feels bad for the camera man (I assume his wife or son) who always gets his left overs. They should get their own boxes instead of having to eat after him. He isnt very considerate at all.
Cherry Blossom Season is when we're planning on going to Japan (It occurs around my Birthday In Sendai! What a great way to celebrate!) Great video! Had me chuckling when you ate the fallen leaf and the 'spinach'. As for the beard? It looks good on you! I would vote to keep it :)
