Absolutely. I fondly remember searching for songs from my favourite video games that were once only obtainable as midis, uploaded to angelfire and geocities websites that are now defunct. Between that, and ocremix, there weren't many options.
This really does sell the feeling of fear one can get in being inside a big, sprawling factory, especially with the power constantly flickering. The final stop in DK's "pilgrimage" to maim and dismember the pirate crocodile who stole his bananas. Very well done.
Another great restoration of an already amazing Donkey Kong Country 1 track. God, every one of your restorations just gets better than the last, doesn't it?
I had just discovered these restorations not even a week ago and there are already completely new arrangements of these songs replacing the old ones in my liked/music playlists. Very nicely done!
One of the best themes of dkc1, in terms of the soundtrack and the levels. Most of the DKC games do this well but I always loved how the level backgrounds make areas feel larger than the explorable space. The distant platforms and houses in the treetop levels of dkc1, the kremling carnival in the rollercoaster levels of dkc2, the vast winding pipes and cold machinery in the half dark of scattered ceiling lights.
I love this a lot, one of the best remixes I've heard for this song. I've been wanting to make my own VR MMORPG fan game, which would be a massive collaboration, and would love stuff like this to be on there, and I'd give credit of course. ^^
Definitely going to do a livestream come 11/21 for the 30th Anniversary. I love listening to all your remastered songs from the trilogy. Takes me back to when I was 7 and got this for Xmas. This and MMX got me into listening to gaming music.
Rare: The game is about Some monkeys getting their big pile of bananas back, nothing to crazy. David Wise: *Proceeds to eat and leave absolutely no crumbs.*
Not going to lie, I thought this was going to be a mashup. I was waiting for Burton's lyrics to kick in or something. I clearly didn't play this game lol.
Hmm, I had no idea there was supposed to be a cello/violin in this song. On the SNES it always sounded like a horn or something, which I think fits better.
If you're talking about the instrument 0:43, I was thinking the same thing. On the compressed track, it's sounds like a synth lead or something similar
Many of us have been listening to this wonderful music for 30 years now, hard to believe.
good music composers are deadable, but good musics are immortal.
@@executoralex333Deadable? That’s not even a word. 😂
@@executoralex333They only die when they are forgotten...

I, too, am one of those. To another 30 years!

This was not the final stop actually
One of the only songs from the SNES era to both instill fear and make me bop along at the same time. This sounds incredible!
Lets f-in goooo one of the best tracks in DKC1! The new sound is amazing throughout Sam, I think you killed it!
Funky Factory
Funkys fugue and aquatic ambience get all the glaze for this soundtrack, and rightfully so, but this one is underrated
The song is good and all, but I didn’t know Rambi was in this level! :o
Been having a rough few weeks. Listening to this made it just that little, ever so bit better. I’ll take it.
I got this game on Black Friday in 1994, can't believe it's gonna be 30 years already!
0:57 Straight up Robert Miles - Children
This one is a very nostalgic tune for me. You did a stellar job with the restoration!
The song that single-handedly gave me a love of industrial music. Thanks for jammin' this on up, Sam!
Hard to believe this game and song turns 30 years old in a few days
So cool! Ty for restoring it ❤
I didn't know there was a Rambi crate in that first level
Smooth sound 👏
FINALLY! a update to the best song in this game.
Aquatic Ambience is tied for best song in the game.

Too good!

Two drops back to back? Christmas is early!
You spoil us! Will never get tired of your DK videos ❤️
You are a genius!!!

great mix!!! very happy to listen!
My favorite song in gaming history... thank you do much for the restored version... soooo good!
Nice. That string sound melts my brain, but in a good way.
Fear? I don't feel afraid, I feel my bones moving
Phenomenal remix, jammin’ Sam 😎🤘🏻🎸 this is one of my personal favorite tunes in this game
Well orchestrated, Maestro!
This sounds great restored, some of the other tracks sound too different to me but this is amazing
An eternal masterpiece.

One of the best from DKC1 amazing work!
This song never gets old I tell ya!
Music so good and nostalgic that I listen to stuff like this when I run Mythics in WoW
nice
This sounds amazing, Sam, thanks!
P.S. - I'm gonna go broke at this rate lol.. 😅 (jk)
Donkey Kong Country
Ah, one of my favourites. Drive the engine of war with the sword and the spear and the axe and the iron fist of the Kremcroc.
afraid production line
Kemcroc Industries Inc were nicely bookended by Oil Drum Alley & Blackout Basement!
Parabéns meu amigo pela restauração da trilha sonora de um game clássico lançado em 1994 que marcou uma geração para sempre 👏👏
This is far too good! 👍
Blackout Basement was intense
Yessssss
Not going to lie, I thought this was going to be a mashup. I was waiting for Burton's lyrics to kick in or something. I clearly didn't play this game lol.
I wish all of your restored music was on Spotify. I wish you were on Spotify 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Isso garoto!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
W
could someone explain me why hes uploading new mixes of the songs again?
Wait the lead is a Cello???
It's technically a cello patch, but it's very high for a cello. A melody like this would be more suitable for a viola's range

The Elon Musk theme. 🤣
