I just don't see it as different? Twice is cheerful, feminine and upbeat and M&M offers all of it.... of course their debut days had sweeter songs they had underage members, but if anything is a gradual progression, not a change. People just like to find reasons to complain.

actually the genre itself is very early Twice (TT, cheer up, knock-knock EDM vibe). Only now they have a more adult theme, also this type of music is making a comeback in kpop so yes, im glad they went back to this type of music

Looking at lyrics perspective I like to think More and More is a continuation of Yes or Yes. Y.Y was the confession to him saying I like you do you like me but be careful what you say bc there's only one choice. M&M is them together and he's trying to leave or something or she thinks he has a change of heart and is saying you're gonna like me and keep liking me. I'll make you want more and more...you have no choice. I think the Eve reference isn't meaning them it's for the guy saying this will happen to you, you will be tempted.
