Wow, another beautiful project by your daughter! Such a lovely gift.
I like the variegated yarn in the sunlight. On camera it looks pretty to me. Also, It was so sweet to hear Alfie purring! I hope your Monday was a good one.
Hi. Yes I’m really impressed with my daughter’s crochet. Alfie’s purr is very comforting 😊
Love both your hot water bottle covers, well done. I like the variegated colours of your Mum’s in the light and your Dad’s colour is amazing. X💕
Hi Barbara. Yes they are both very different. I’m glad they chose them 😊
I love the hot water bottle covers - the yarns are gorgeous. Now that you've done a bit more of your mother's I really like that yarn. It looks nicer knitted than it did on the ball. And, your daughter is very talented! Love those fingerless gloves, her friend will be very happy.
Hi Cheryl. Thank you. I agree. I’m warming up to my mums hot water bottle 😊
Those fingerless mitts are so beautiful.
Hi Pamela. Yes I’m so impressed with my daughters crochet 😊
The bottle covers are really nice and I can see quite a lot of pink in your mums and because you’ve made it, I’m sure she will love it. Your daughter is very clever and how lovely to be making gifts for her friends. 😊
Hi Penny. Yes I’m much happier with my mums yarn now that the bottle cover is growing. So pleased my daughter can get joy out of crafting 😊
Another beautiful project by your daughter and how nice of you to sew the ends in for her! 🥰 I have fond memories of being able to lick the whisk when we had angel delight as a child 😄
Hi Emma. Oh yes licking the whisk 😋. Once the ends were sewn in the mitts looked so professional 😊

Love UR mums too,,,
Dinner looks so yummy,,,
Sweet gift ur daughter made,,,
Elaine🏘🎄
Hi Elaine. Thanks for all your compliments 😊
What great hot water bottle covers.Your food look yummy.I love the fingerless mitts, the best colours ever.xxx🐝🐝☃️
Hi and thanks for your lovely compliments. I’ll forward to my daughter 😊
The angel delight took me back to my childhood too! I used to love the butterscotch one 😂
Yes we love butterscotch too. Have a nice collection in the cupboard which only consists of chocolate or butterscotch 😊
I love chocolate Angel Delight! One of my favourites! Your knitting is coming along beautifully for the next bottle cover x
Hi Heather. Yes I’m pleased with my mums bottle cover 😊
The hot water bottle covers are lovely - and give as much in pleasure as they do in practicality. When my son was little he couldn’t say “hot water bottle” properly so, for over 40 years, they have been referred to as “hottle wottle bottles”.
Hi Angela. Thanks for watching. I’m definitely going to make more for gifts or myself. So versatile in the pattern you choose. How sweet the things children say 😊
Your mum’s hottie cover is beautiful, especially with that lovely double moss stitch pattern, very textured. Daughter’s friends are very lucky to receive such beautiful gifts.
Tea looked gorgeous too - am a vegetarian so all those roast veggies looked amazing - making me hungry even at 7am!!!
Hi Carol. Yes I’m enjoying my mums bottle cover. Love a bit of texture 😊
Hi Sarah,
You can fix your Dad's button problem by adding 2 more buttons to the left side of the one that is off center. They will be non functioning of course but if you space them out evenly it will look nice and it won't be noticeable that the functioning one is off. I am enjoying your Vlogmas. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Hi and thanks for watching. What a great idea. I don’t have any other buttons that match but will see if a contrast selection would work 😊
I like the yarn for your mum's hot water bottle cover but sometimes hand dyed looks so different knitted up and not how we expect it to be. I wonder as well if this yarn suffers because the orange for your dad's is so incredibly beautiful? Oh those mitts your daughter has made are so pretty. She is obviously a talented crafter like her mother, and very kind to make such a beautiful hand made gift. Another 70s child here and I too love Angel Delight 😋 Take care, Adele 🎄💚🎄
Hi Adele. I think you are right. The orange yarn is so beautiful. I’m enjoying working on my mums cover though 😊
Hello Sweet Alfie ❤ The bottle covers look great. The fingerless gloves are so pretty. What a nice gift. Dinner looked delicious! Did you add sesame oil? It's one of my favorite condiments.
Hi Dawn. Yes I’m very impressed in my daughter’s crochet. No I didn’t add sesame oil. I use olive oil to cook the roasted veg 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 I love sesame oil on veggies once they have been cooked. Have a great day.
Such lovely water bottle covers ~ so much fun to invent your own texture patterns 🌟Wonderful mitts your daughter crocheted 💖 and what delicious foods you've made. I'm a child of the 70s but we didn't have Angel Delight here in the states. What is it made of?
Hi Diana. I’m so pleased with the bottle covers. I’ll definitely make more and try different patterns. Angel Delight is a packet mix. Once added to milk and whisked it thickens considerably. Once in the fridge it becomes thicker. It’s a smooth creamy desert. Not bubbly like mouse but smooth like yoghurt. We love the chocolate or butterscotch flavour 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 Sounds delicious! I love butterscotch pudding and the Jello brand powder reminds me of my childhood.
Don’t know if anyone else can’t hear . The last to video I’ve had to put on 60 to hear .
Hi Tanya. Thanks for watching. There are parts of my videos that I make quiet or silent but I’ve increased the volume on my speaking parts. Sorry if you can’t hear. 😊
💕😀🎄xx thanks Sarah. I love your hotty covers. The purple yarn you’re using for your mum’s however I wonder if you’re getting colour on your fingers whether the same could happen to your mum’s sheets or clothing etc. when using her hotty! I had the same sort of colour loss once and ruined a white shirt I was wearing under the jumper I’d made. Sorry to put such a dampener out there! Lots of love 🥰
Hi Sue. Yes that’s a thought about the yarn. Maybe I’ll wash it before i give it to her 😊
