That's a great game, a bit slow and grindy but still good :) can't wait to see more of that series. Speaking of Minecraft there are modpacks who offer the same experience as Vintage Story, like VintageCraft and TerraFirmaCraft (made by some of the authors of Vintage Story if I'm not mistaking)

No I think you’re right. Vintage Story started as a Minecraft mod pack, then split off on its own. Thanks for the comment!
