"This is messy, but we have not always been messy." I loved that line and the way you followed it up was amazing. I loved the energy and power and sheer poetic presence. This was impeccable. Well done

Yes! I loved this poem AND your choreography! How you accented certain phrases by stopping and moving slower was brilliant! I came here from Vino Veritas’ list and as a fellow poet I knew I had to see this and I’m glad I did

“They cleanse your ovaries with turpentine
To stop the bleeding they said
To stop the breeding they prayed
Over charred tongues and bloody orchids
Our mouths have been on fire for decades
Lit with matches by our doors
And blades in the beating of our palms
    Daughters
Daughters we born with both achilles kissing flames”
    Wow, so powerful!
