I visited 88-years-old Gheerajee Nankoo who is bedridden at her overwinning, East Bank of Berbice home following a request from a villager who highlighted the inhumane circumstances under which she lives. Whilst there, I was appalled at the challenges the elderly woman faces daily. As such, I promised to construct a new home for her great grandson.
