Wow, this was so clear and easy to follow. Feels like Teague is sitting in my living room giving me a relaxed fireside chat.

You're the first RUclips tutorial guitarist I've come across, who actually counts out the rhythm clearly. It makes it so much quicker to learn. Cat Stevens has some quirky rhythmic going on in many of his tunes

Thank you for the comment! I’m planning to make another video to go with this soon. Rhythm is everything for sure and understanding it does quite often make it easier to learn. Although some people prefer to just use their ear and find counting only makes it more confusing. Glad I could help :)

I've always said that I'm a technician NOT a musician but that if you show me how to play something I'll shortly make it sound like the record. In this case, you "show" me far better than most. Thanks!

Superb, less adding full chord triple strum. I learned a lot. I thank you.

Part of that intro sounds like part of the intro to Wheel In The Sky by the band Journey.

I love how you broke down the finger placement, that was great and very helpful to me learning the turn, but I experienced an audio delay when watching you play: when I saw you pluck the strings, the notes coming off the strings followed a fraction late. If you could figure out why that is happening and correct it, it would be much easier to follow. Thanks.

Everybody who's covering this tune keeps playing it on a 6-string guitar. I hear Cat (or someone else) playing a 12-string in that tune. ? Am I just hearing things, or could it possibly he's using some kind of octavia sound effect/pedal with his 6-string?

what brand of guitar are you using ? I have been looking to upgrade my practice guitar to an acoustic electric.

Hey Charles, this is a Takamine I bought in 1991 and has been my main acoustic guitar all this time! Someday I will get a new acoustic though! Quite looking forward to that day :)

When you show something not in sequence it's very hard to follow this and learn it, you have to just play it slow once and people could figure it out

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I also feel this feel was not my best. I do however have plans to do another part that hopefully will make it easier to learn.
