Thanks for the progress update, been a keen follower since early days. Lovely family and congratulations on the little one ^^ Hopefully the birthrate can be reversed in Korea with policy changes that benefit family creation...
@@rapamune We haven't started mass production yet. It would be possible to sell the frame + gearbox + lever as a kit, but it's still just a plan. When mass production proceeds, I will upload a related video.
I was waiting for the update. That is good. 10s with 573% is really good. It saves weight and less gears are easy to use. Shifter update is nice it doesn't show whats gear you use. You can use it as per your strength and power. Really looking forward to mass production. I hope to buy it. Keep going all the best for the production.
Hi. 10S is 523% - of course, it can be changed but I think this is enough. I agree with you that it's better to feel the torque and choose the shift. Where are you from? Thank you for your support.
Yes, thank you. An Indian said that this gearbox is not suitable for the Indian market. I heard that it is difficult to get favorable responses from the Indian market, such as topography, weather, and price. I agree with that opinion to some extent. What is your opinion?
@@all-to yeah it's hard to get market because no one uses internal gearbox or hub. But you know its always harder for beginning. Their are somethings like repairs and services are important. More service points are convenient to use. But someone has to be the First. So all the best 👍

Hello, thank you for your congratulations. There are no restrictions, just selling gearboxes or frame together. The expected consumer price is likely around $600. But the buyers will decide.
I was planing on buying a bike with a pinion 12 gear gearbox this year, but someone made me aware of your project and your gear ratios seem to be more fitting for a trekking bike than pinions in my opinion, its good to see some competition in this field, im from germany and if possible is there a roughly planed release date for this yet? and will this be awailable in germany in general?
Hello. You're in Germany. Nice to meet you. If you want the best product, I suggest you buy the pinion gearbox now. I develop a gearbox, but I can't guarantee it's as high quality as a pinion yet. The gearbox I'm developing is aimed at popularizing it. So we are preparing production so that the consumer price of the gearbox can be less than $600. Of course, there is no problem using it as a bicycle transmission. However, we did not go through the research and production process to secure as much quality as the pinion. Anyway, if we continue to produce, high-quality gearboxes will be completed. We have now sold gearboxes as samples to some buyers. I will start mass production only if I have orders from buyers. I just hope that's the point this year.
@@boogerlad 15 steps is 606%. I think this is an unnecessary number. So I made 12S, 10S. I think this is a more suitable product for price, weight, and use. And a lot of areas are 7S is enough. I'll post a video of 7S soon.
@@boogerlad The price will be decided by the distributor. I only expect 600 dollars. It would be cheaper if I sold it directly to the consumer, but if it breaks down, it is difficult to deal with it. Transportation costs tens of dollars and usually takes about a month.
it looks amazing with the belt drive! looking forwards to release (and an USA launch). (i assume you are planning on working with frame makers to make compatible frames.)
Thank you. You're right. We have frame manufacturers that can fit gearboxes. We have titanium and aluminum manufacturers. Once this gearbox is produced, we will forward the contact information so that the customer can place an order directly to these frame companies.
Hi. Actually, I'm not interested in frame making. I'm just making it for this gearbox. No one is improving an existing bike to fit this gearbox. It's rather a big deal. This aluminum frame only costs 200 to 300 dollars.
@@all-to Have you looked at the recumbent bike and trike market? They usually mount the pedals on a telescoping boom that's locked into position with some pinch bolts. So a conversion kit or OEM adaption should be easier. For example ICE makes a boom that fits Pinion Gearboxes. I happen to be home-building my own bike right now so I can fit whatever gears I want to the bike. Going slow due to my newborn son, but All-To is on the short list of options if it's on sale when I'm ready to buy gears.
Wow, this is so impressive. I want to buy one for a bike I am designing, do you think it can withstand downhill riding application? Your family is beautiful. Not yet. But I'd love to build an integrated drive one day.
