I’m pretty sure that was a 3 chime whistle, they use them in America too. Well they used to use them, I do not know if they still do as I am not american
@@thatonec_set3730 Actually, I think that was a NSWGR 5-Chime. Yeah we Americans still do; and in many different varieties. The only 3-Chime whistle I'm aware from Australia is the Hancock Short-Bell 3-Chimes mounted on the NSWGR D59 class Mikados. No. 5917 is in service today.
That last scene is gold. Beautiful combination of locomotives.👍
I wish 3830 could run again. That would be so lovely to see her run with her older sister.
I totally agree I'd like to see 3830 run again
Love NSW Steam, the 38s and 60s are Australia's best! That little American type #1210 was just beautiful.
What a fascinating sight, 1210 coupled to 3830. 👏
Looks very strange lol
Rock solid video love the footage
I was most surprised to see the candy livery V-set.

@@jltrain-zgamingrailfan202x3 I am also aware that they used the 3 chimes on some 58 classes too
All those wonderful locomotives now all stuffed elephants in museums never to steam again shame
ironically theyre still steamed to this day
