Yay he's back. I can't wait to watch this instead of working on college apps. Also thank you for being my source for knowledge, it is thanks to you that I can notch fairly consistently.
Congrats for college! I couldn't for the life of me find how to change frequencies on this plane (not swap with stand by, change the frequency itself) Also I don't get the comm frequencies for atc or anything on the comms screen Skill issue I guess
Thanks Loren. As for the changing the frequencies, you need to click the number showing the standby frequency. This should open the window where you input the frequency you want. Once the standby frequency is set to the frequency you want you can then swap to it. Rinse and repeat until both frequencies are set to what you want. Regarding the atc info in the comms page, you need to click “info” when viewing the tower or carrier you want to land on. Hope this helps.
@EyosYT thank you for the response! I'll try changing the frequency when I get home. As for the comms, the info panel just brings the ILS freqs, not comms. I either mess my english really bad or indeed the ILS is not meant for comms (which I doubt because I get to talk with the default tower) Also I think I'll jump back into the discord now that you've come back. It was pretty dead when I joined
@@lorenmax2.013 Ahh I understand now. The ILS frequency is not used to talk to the tower it is used for guiding you to the airfield. ILS stands for Instrument Landing System and it uses radio to provide guidance information to planes landing in poor weather conditions. You can see this in VTOL VR by looking at the compass in the center of the 26 cockpit. When you tune your ILS system to the frequency provided in the comms info page two yellow bars should appear on the compass to give you the ideal bearing and glideslope into the runway.
@EyosYT yeah yeah, I was a tad unclear I don't get the comms frequency at all, just ILS. I know it should be there as I've seen it in tutorials and in the tyro. I guess it's off to the discord
