How the hell was i a child of the 80s and never saw monster tanks? I have very fond memories of watching OG Bigfoot and Orange Blossom Special back in the day.
I lost my helmet during a race once, I went ahead and finished the race without it. I regretted doing that. You don’t realize what all a helmet does until you lose one.
Wonderful! Welcome back, T-bones. Speaking of vision problems, could it be that Bob didn't have his glasses that was problem in the race with "Trak Attack"?
Two Monster Tanks, one is a Ford Van on a Patton Chassis, the other is a Steam Locomotive on a Stuart Chassis. The train is on a much older vertical volute spring suspension that predates the torsion bar suspension on the Fast Traxx. Its also kinda sad a much more rare Stuart Tank was cut down to make a Monster Tank that really doesn't have the handling of the Fast Traxx which uses a less rare tank chassis.
M4 High Speed Tractor. They were plentiful in late 80s and about two thirds of all monster tanks were built on top of M4/M5 tractors. I think I heard one of em cost about 5000$, making them pretty cost effective solution
That train is freakin awesome
that orange blossom has got to be the most dangerous lookin thing i have ever seen
I love some of these old school shows can't beat em

You're welcome!
I'm surprised Allen Gaines survived that run in the Orange Blossom Special. That looked like a punishing ride. Ouch

Actually, if I remember correctly, the Orange Blossom was built from a M4 or M5 artillery tractor, and not an actual Stuart.

Anytime Jim Kramer drives bigfoot it's just so much better
Miss these good old days!
The Orange Blossom Express Tank Monster Truck looks like a steam train because it is built from train parts.
Yes he did!
Looked like Bob may have actually won that final race, too bad they never show a replay where anyone can tell... Still, awesome event!
never mind, i should have watched more of the vid, i was just in awe when i saw the helmet
