sopranos is the greatest show ever, but i think (trying to decipher marty's subtle retardation here) he meant that it's a show with a lot mundane shit, or as kb put it, "banality", which can be unappealing to some. for me, it makes it that much better, because it makes it real. it's not a mob show, it's a show about a man and his family and his work, and that man just happens to be a mobster.

I’m sure I watched stuff when I was a kid that was popular that you’ve never heard of etc. Anime was pretty niche back then in white places. I watched DBZ, naruto, etc when I was a kid but only a few others at my elementary school did too.
