Hey do you have these games from the 2001, 2002, and 2003 seasons: Ravens vs Bengals Week 2 2001 Ravens vs Browns Week 6 2001 Bengals vs Browns Week 11 2001 Colts vs Browns Week 15 2002 Browns vs Ravens Week 16 2002 Colts vs Browns Week 1 2003 Honorable mentions: Panthers vs Rams Week 9 2001 Falcons vs Rams Week 17 2001
The Ravens had possibly the best defense ever that season, but they also got a lot of postseason luck that year. They probably lose to Tennessee if Al Del Greco doesn't have one of the worst games a kicker can possibly have. Then they knocked Rich Gannon out of the AFC Championship game somewhat early, leaving only Bobby Hoying standing between them and the Super Bowl. I think the Jets showed the blueprint to beating the Ravens in the last game of the regular season. They spread them out and Vinny threw for nearly 500 yards with only the Jets being the Jets and not taking care of the ball costing them a win and a playoff berth in the process. I figured the Giants would surely use the same approach in the Super Bowl, but when I saw Jim Fassel come out and try to establish the run, I knew it was curtains for them. You just weren't going to run on that Ravens D with any kind of success.
What! the Jets had like 6 or 7 turnovers Vinny had like 3 or 4 pics , one pick 4 a touchdown Basically the blueprint showed you can't pass on them neither Vinny Gave them almost 500 yards And two touchdowns If you throw for 500 yards And only two touchdowns Something ain't go right Once the Ravens d got the short field it was over the two quarters that rich played They was on his ass He was on pace to throw about 190 yards Coming from the number one offense in the league that year They still would have lost The Tennessee game might be right You might be wrong The Ravens beat Tennessee three out of four games
@@goldenraven2046 Thats not what I remember. It was Ravens Vikings that people wanted to see, especially after how the Rams collapsed at the end of the season. Ray Lewis, Tony Siragusa, and Rod Woodson vs. Dante Culpepper, Randy Moss, and Cris Carter.
I think there's some revisionist history in this comment. The reason why Testaverde compiled so many yards is because he dropped back to pass 70 times (69 attempts, 1 sack)! If you throw the ball that many times you are going to compile some yards, but his yards per attempt were a relatively mediocre average of 6.9. The Jets also managed to turn the ball over 6 times in that game including a pick six. As for the Titans, the Ravens won that game 24-10. Sure, Del Greco failed to convert on a couple field goals. But the excellent kick blocking ability of the Ravens special teams unit that year had a hand in that.

It's So Sad That Baltimore Don't Have NFL Teams From 1984 To 1993 Because Colts Moved To Indianapolis
Didn't have a NFL team there in 1994 and 1995 as well
If anything it was worth the wait, ravens have been a much more successful team than the colts ever were when’s they was in Baltimore
