The "kid in a sweetshop" feeling upon seeing all those plants! What a great selection they have! And, while Italy has some mild climate regions, it is hardly a tropical country. It puts UK nurseries to shame! Lovely-looking Opuntias. Mine is about the same in terms of size. I hope they don't rot in that rain. Bilva is the Bael Fruit, if I am not mistaken. S. samaragense would be the Wax Jambu. I have one of those growing. Wow, those Macadamias look great. I wonder if they are grafted or airlayered? I'd love to get hold of a grafted named White Sapote to replace my 'Mc Dud', which has never, ever flowered for me (most likely it is a seedling- I got it from Frutales back in 2018). And a named fingerlime or fingerlime hybrid. A grafted avocado. Brexbrix has a lot to answer for......the customs union at least should have been retained. In the pre-Brixbrax years I actually ordered from Vendita Piccoli.
Definetly a nice experience tbh, Gary. I like being around plants anyway but seeing some of these species is pretty cool. I only partially recorded the amazing citrus nursery at this nursery then my phone died just before I noticed some of the best looking fingerlime plants I've seen. Anyway, off to revisit Agrumi Lenzi and Oscar Tintori in the morning so will make sure my phone is charged.👍🏼
Wow, what an incredible collection of tropicals they have there! It’s a shame about the weather, I hope it improves soon🤞. I bet the temperatures are better than here though 😂
Yes ,the weathers warm and yesterday it was sunny but today a lot of rain. I don't mind it. Their collection isn't bad actually. I visited them twice while I was there.
Ah this is so funny because I have just received my order from them today !! I got myself a McDill and a chinese guava yellow. The chinese guava is so tall I did not expect that.
Oh my cherry guave had no fruits on it :( I also have a red cherry guava at home which is covered in fruits. But I don't know if they'll ever rippen. It's quite late in the season already.
@@pierreboyer9277 Its amazing that plants that small can still hold fruit. Very encouraging to see. I hope some of your cherry guava ripens in time. 🤞🏽 We've not had the warmest weather here so many exotics are very late.
@@MoebiusUK Yes and it suffered from draught during my summer holidays. The watering system had an issue and the plant looked totally dried. But somehow it recovered and the fruit have not fallen. Though they have stopped growing since it appears.
Le georgiche have some excellent fingerlime plants. Good quality. Kicking myself for not buying their ‘Emerald’ fingerlime. All their citrus looked very healthy
Syzygium Samarangense is the Java apple, a pink bell shaped wax fruit, very similar looking to malaccense 😁

Fabulous tropical selections
I do enjoy walking around nurseries in other countries .... I only really pay attention to their exotic fruit plants though.
This is a nursery I’d love to visit….some quite expensive but the plants do look pretty healthy.
It's a nice little nursery. Well worth the visit as it's so close to the 'Le Georgiche ' nursery too.
Ah this is so funny because I have just received my order from them today !! I got myself a McDill and a chinese guava yellow. The chinese guava is so tall I did not expect that.
It's a nice little nursery with a good selection.
Is your guava 'Psidium cattleyanum var. littorale' ?

ouch i winced when you touched the opuntia pads, i hate the glochids on those that stick in your skin 😱
Oh, if i'd have known about glochids I'd have been more careful. lol.
Incredible cheap plants though ... for that size.
