His vitiligo and lupus were also the reason why he wore the umbrellas, why he wore facial masks etc.. for his autoimmune diseases. He really went through so much so sad. He really was one of the worse treated people ever fr. And then not only that but he broke his back I believe in 1999 if I'm not mistaken or 1998 after he fell about 30-50feet while being on a podium which caused him to be on more pain killers which eventually killed him .( He was on them his whole life since the Pepsi incident.) Thats another reason why he always wore suits etc.. because he was immune to the sun essentially so he had to wear that for protection of what ( black was left) this is just a quick add on but I'm about 18 minutes into the vid I know this information since about 2021 but its so sad to hear from MJ his self:((

According to the National Vitiligo Foundation, around 70 million people around the world have vitiligo. June is 'Vitiligo Awareness Month', and on Sunday 25th June we'll be celebrating 'World Vitiligo Day'. The choice of June 25 as 'World Vitiligo Day' is a memorial to Michael Jackson , who suffered from vitiligo from the early 1980s until his death, which occurred on June 25, 2009.

Ha, ha you`ve got two Kings on your list... Where are the Queens?? LOL...
Now you`ve got to take a look at The Godmother of Rock`n Roll, Sister Rosetta Tharpe :) No pressure, Seph!!
Maybe you could react to her performance of "Hound Dog". Just so people hear about her existence. She never got enough credit for her unbelievable guitar playing, presence, and coolness :))) Especially when you consider that she was a black woman born in 1915 in Arkansas (Cotton Plants). Her parents were cotton pickers and musicians.
When she was 4, she started playing the guitar. At age 6, she began regularly performing alongside her mother.
In the US, the poorest people made the greatest impact on music.
And of course, there is the Queen of R&R Tina Turner!!
May God finally grant her the peace she deserves.
But I`ve got a feeling that Tina will rock the Heavens, lift a lot of dust, and is already officially known as one of the greatest disturbers of peace, and bringers of joy... LOL

Yes when his skin became lighter in the 80s many peope didnt know what was happening, people didnt know about vitiligo and the pmedia came up with the explanation that he was trying to bleach his skin to become white and since thats the only explanation the public had they took it as fact and to this day many people dont know or believe he had a skin disorder.
Many blakc people felt betrayed by MJ, with thriller, MJ had broken so many barriers and the black community was proud to finally have a black icon in the entertainment world, so seeing him become a lighter shade it looked like he was selling out to the white people and leaving his core fans and the black community behind.

everything and anything possible was said against Michael Jackson and it was horrible. Its not an exaggeration to say that he got a 1000 times worse than anyone else. The media ripped him apart completely. Dealing with all of the tabloids and all of these rumors on top of having the most televised and popular court case probably in history about the worst crime someone could commit would send anyone into mental anguish. I really believe that mj was probably if not the most misunderstood person ever, if hes not then hes really close

I just came across this video. Even though vitiligo is a rare skin condition, I have met, I think about 3 people so far with the condition. Two of them had white patches on their hands and necks. My niece was around 4 when I saw one lady at the grocery store with patches on her hands. My niece went up to her and started rubbing the lady's hand. I apologized and the lady just smiled. For one guy about 90 % of his face was depigmented like the guy in the video. I had tried not to stare when I first saw him and kept trying to imagine what he looked like before. It is a very real condition.

Another interesting fact to look into is MJ bought half the Sony ATV catalogue back in mid 80s.. he owned thr rights to Elvis, Beatles, and many more artist's catalogues and was making money off of them. He also helped fellow black artists like Little Richard by returning their catalogues to them free as initially Sony was mainly profiting off of them. They asked him to sell back the catalogue and he refused. Late 80s is when the bullying against him started followed by the fake allegations to try ruin his name. Him not selling back the catalogue had something to do with all the media bullying and fake allegations. In early 2000s he spoke out against Tommy Mottola the ceo of Sony at the time.. next thing you know the 2005 allegations popped up. Some even theorise that it was Sony who killed him to get back their catalogue. Anyway he was a powerful smart business man ans outsmarted the elites.. plus he was loved worldwide and more popular than presidents. He was always a threat and spoke out on the industry which is why they hated him. They tried to cancel him and failed.. if you look at his RUclips following he has over 28mil followers.. only 20th century artist with more followers than today's popular artists like Drake and Chris Brown.. plus just broke another record of being only solo 20th century artist to have 2 songs over a billion views.. with three more soon on the way.. King ❤❤

Not quite accurate, Little Richard didn't get back his catalog, niether did Sly (feo Sly and the Family Stone), for different reasons. The whole ATV purchase is sprinkled with lies thanks to Macca whining a**. That for sure was one of MJs huge crimes, that he dared to buy ATV. If it was any of the other businessmen, who bid for it, all white, of course, nobody would have uttered a word - not even Macca.

And yep black people still today say MJ hated his self and his race (ignorance). And, he is accused of also not liking his self since he had two kids with a white wife, and one by a black or Mexican Woman. But, yeah He had a lot of girlfriends he dated about probably 10 people in public alone. But yeah, as you research more you'll see some crazy things in his life such as his dad abusing him and his brothers. ( he was heavily ABUSEIVE and Manipulative) which had a grand affect on him causing age regression issues and problems from that alone which in a way stem end (the "abuse claims").

If you do decide to react to the first leg and the second then I would suggest Yokohama 1987 for the first leg and for the second (as it is the only full show we have with footage) Wembley 1988.

More people should know about this, his story is very tragic, the pepsi burn must have affected his self esteem enough since he struggled with it since childhood and then it comes this vitiligo 😢 from then on he would suffer from bad pain on his scalp for the rest of his life and had to take pain pills to have some relief and bscause of that he became addicted to pain killers, had to get treatment for it, and as if it that wasn't enough, then the allegations hit and he really started abusing them because the emotional pain was too much, he even has a song about it called Morphine, you should react to it, it's very personal and emotional, Michael went through a lot, I don't know how he was able to deal with everything, he was really mentally strong...

When I was a teenager in the 90's, in the black community kids were constantly talking about how MJ wasn't proud of his blackness, and bleached his skin so he could be white. That he got nose jobs because he thought his nose was too ugly and "too black". Diana Ross is a singer and actress. Eddie Murphy was a prince in Coming To America, and The Nutty Professor is the one where he got big. That dance you went "WOW!" over was called the Moonwalk, and sooo many people in the 80's tried to copy it: actors, dancers, farmers, secretaries, CEO's, breakdancers, King Charles (obviously before he became king), children on the playground--- to varying levels of success lol

But I just want to point out how *joyful* it was to basically witness someone's genuine first time seeing the Moonwalk? 😂 Because that's what basically happened here and I couldn't stop smiling! And it's so symbolic that it happened with the Motown Billie Jean performance, because that was also when the rest of the WORLD saw it for the first time, too, and watching you be amazed and rewinding it over and over is EXACTLY how the world reacted in 83 and this gave me such an authentic nostalgia trip haha. The global prevalence of vitiligo ranges from 0.5% to 2% of the population. About 15 to 25% of people with vitiligo are also affected by at least one other autoimmune disorder, particularly autoimmune thyroid disease, rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, psoriasis , pernicious anemia, Addison disease, systemic lupus erythematosus (Michael Jackson), celiac disease, Crohn disease, or ulcerative colitis.

Poor Michael, his father was horrible. He abused and exploited his sons to get money from them, especially Michael, he even said one time that he felt like a money making machine to him. He had no childhood cause he made them work work and work all day every day and rehearse all day since the age of 5 and even after they got famous, beating him constantly. From what I know he made his sons perform at strip clubs at a very early age where girls would be stripping, and would be cheating on his wife with various girls and women while she stayed home taking care of the younger children and they would be on tour on the road, Michael even said he felt revolted and disgusted by the thought of whatever was going on in Joseph's room with his girlfriends. He was exposed to a lot too soon, that also had an influence on the older boys who used to sleep with groupies right next to Michael while he was asleep, a behavior their father encouraged, Michael was disgusted and said he would never do that. I think those experiences made him deeply dislike groupies and wish for a meaningful connection with someone and not sex, (hence the song Dirty Diana for example). And there's also his mom who was a Jehovah's Witness so they would always read the Bible and she would teach him that lust was a sin and he should wait for marriage. Of course, his father was not. I know all the brothers had a rough time with Joseph but Michael was obviously the most traumatized one cause he was the most sensitive one and the youngest of them. I know he later said he forgave him but clearly it all affected him deeply until his death.

He was their manager, and he only started to "break away" from his control when he went solo with Off The Wall, as much as it was possible cause he was still living with him in their family home. Some people make excuses but abuse is abuse, they keep saying that if it wasn't for him he wouldn't have been who he was and I honestly desagree. Michael was born with a gift and honestly there would have been no Jackson 5 without Michael, no offense to his brothers but they were big because of his talent so honestly I think he would have made it anyway with or without his father.

He copied Elvis' moves, hair style, married his daughter, had a pet monkey like Elvis. Neverland- Graceland both had exotic animals. He named himself King of Pop and asked to be introduced that way. The press named Elvis King of R&R, and Elvis always said he wasn't the king of anything. His life ended from an overdose of drugs.
