There's a smaller station in Kanagawa called Fuchinobe and the jingle for getting on/off the train is this song minus the vocals. What a precious song ~
me too. probably cause i was 18 when i discovered this movie but never watched it until recently. now im 28 now and miss my younger days so much which this movie definitely reminds me of. and i know people will always tell me oh youre still young you have plenty of time! but its not the same. ill never get my younger days back

まあ、自分自身も片足を突っ込んでるからね時代を感じる。
時代はとめど無く流れるけど、思い出は色褪せ無い。
あの時はカケラも思わなかったけど、今思い直せばいい時代だったと思うよ。。。

これ当時エンドロールが流れてもみんな立つことができなかったらしいね。
それだけ秀逸な映画と主題歌だったんだな。
去年の暮れに4Kリメイク版の上映が全国であり、近くの映画館で見て来ました。アンドロメダ行きのパスが限定で貰える特典付きで。平日の最終でしたがエンドロールで立ったのは1人。後は明るくなるまで動きませんでした。

I just got the blu-ray for this movie, and not only does it look great, it even has the old Viz Video/Ocean Group dub on it as well! It's awesome =D
