If ever you plan on modding the Thunderbolt, it shares most of its internals (including the flywheel cage) with the Spectrum. Some parts might be off a few millimeters and I don't think there is a 3D print file for an extended battery door like the Spectrum, but I believe there is enough space for some 2S lipo battery in the compartment after some trimming.
Thanks for the info! I was thinking about at least doing a rewire and setting it up for Lipo, but for stock games, it's already pretty much perfect as is. I'm probably just gonna buy a second one so I can keep one stock and play around with the other. Good to know about the possible Spectrum compatibility though, I will definitely keep that in mind. I now know how amazing it is! I walked past it so many times and never grabbed it until the other day. Now I feel silly because I'm in love with this blaster! It should be the entry level, flywheel king right now!
I saw this blaster on sale I think like 15 bucks around the holidays but thought it was just going to be a so so blaster looks super good and performance is awesome.
