The Pokemon company has confirmed in an interview that mega flygon was planned but do to artist block they didn’t get it done in time so do to the time restraints they scrapped it at the time but said they’d be interested in revisiting the idea at a later date so flygon of all Pokemon made the most sense
The reason Flygon was scrapped was because of artists block. The artists couldn't figure out how to do Mega Flygon. I don't know the reason for Jynx though

Jynx needs an evolution first.
At this point, artist block is no excuse. They had over a decade to come up with something, so if they don't deliver this time, there better be consequences

@@Friendstoyourend flygon deserved a mega just as much as a lot of other Pokemon out there and they had the nerve to do him dirty just cos they couldn't come up with a design. It's not that difficult

I’m glad ZA exists. It’s coincidental to me that it does. Plus it is a legends game.
To be fair with the part on the ancestors, I think most of them will just serve as NPCs that don't serve any purpose at all and are only there as a nod to previous games. Legends Arceus already did that with so many characters who are ancestors but play little to no role. That's just my two cents. (Also, that female Sycamore is 🔥)

This rumor is basically the ideal situation for most fans and a lot of what’s been theorized already which leads me to believe that it unfortunately isn’t real, however it is probably the most convincing one so far

Ken Sugimori admitted in an interview that Flygon didn’t get a Mega due to artist’s block. Personally, this leads me to believe they may have had other aspects of Mega Flygon planned, or at least vaguely thought-of (stats and ability). Jynx having that datamined cry says the same for me.
Tho, the number of Megas stated in that leak feels a little to big, especially to be followed with “etc”.
Whatever the case they had better deliver this time. Artists block won't excuse them
I'm so jealous of those that still have ds systems and pokemon X and Y. With legends ZA it makes me want to replay them but I lost ym stuff awhile ago and now you can only get refurbished ds systems

Is there any actual confirmation that Z-A will be set in the past?? I’m so convinced it’s gonna be set post X/Y or maybe it’s going to somehow visit multiple time-zones. Like it’s Z-A hyphen being “to” Z to A = past to present? I don’t know I just really don’t think it’s gonna be anything like LA
I doubt it’s going to be past and present/future. It’s most likely going to be one or the other. Both would be amazing but not practical
@@Ricozaza yeah that’s the only thing which isn’t adding up. From what we do know and have seen we can all agree it’s a hell of a lot more modern than LA. And with it being set in lumiose alone the only thing I can imagine is something like GTA or one of the Lego marvel games were the city is huge and expansive. For that to happen it would have to be somewhat modern right? Honestly the lack of information is killing me I just wanna find out wtf game freak have in store for us 😂
@@jackking3315Japan was one of the last to get modernized and this is most likely going to take place in the 1800s because France was redeveloped then. Also I don’t think ZA is about a Pokémon because names are all different depending on the country and I think it could be about a person like we know AZ had a brother his name could be ZA so there actually names could be Alex-Zane and Zora-aiden and they use the initials AZ and ZA for there names.
My guess is Z to A means time travel between two timeline will be in store. Similar to Distortion phenomenon, but since that's Giratina's doing, ZA probably uses Hoopa or something like that.
Legends Arceus was set in the past, so why not this one?

There could totally be a lot of ancestors. Not all of them have to have a massive role in the story. If I remember correctly, Karen’s and Gardinas ancestors didn’t have much of a role besides a quest. So a lot of them could just be neat Easter eggs.
I'd love to see a Furfrou Pre-Evo in ZA, a baby Poodle Pup is needed tbh, call it Froupup or something tbh
Can't wait for Mega Delphox, they better give us mega Kalos starters.
Logically, if anyone is getting a new mega it will be the starter pokemon chosen for this game. The Sinnoh starters didn't get any regional forms in Legends Arceus after all, so I'm expecting it will be the same here (except with them not getting megas).
@@c0mpu73rguy Your argument operates on the silly assumption that the Kalos starters won't also be the main starters for Legends ZA.
@@SuperbiaNox If we go by the Legends: Arceus precedent, yes. Legends are also a good way to let other pokemon than the region’s native shine so it makes sense. Leave some room for them.
@@c0mpu73rguy The Legends: Arceus precedent argument is a fallacy, since it didn't even take place in Sinnoh, but Hisui, a different region. And you're wrong again about other Pokemon needing to shine, since the Kalos starters never got to shine in X&Y, they didn't even get mega evolutions in their own region when the silly Kanto starters did lol.
@@SuperbiaNox Hisui IS Sinnoh but in the past. It changed name just like Ezo being renamed Hokkaido after its annexation by the japanese.
As for the Kalos starter's "time to shine", I would argue that they got as much attention as the other starters during their run. They just didn't got a mega but neither did the Galar starters with Gigantamax (at first).
The gen 6 starter's turn to shine (again) will come once the Kalos remakes are made (if it's not a faithful remake that is) probably around 2035-2040. But now it's still too soon.
In the case of the starters, I’d select Scorbunny. Though, I’m still not convinced which starters will be finalized in ZA. But, I’m hoping that the Kalos Underground becomes reality.
Piplup and Snivy are a given. So yeah, with Scorbunny, that could make a pretty neat starter trio.

Pokemon go Raids are practically Dynamax raids already, with the Pokemon just having beefed up HP etc minus the G-Max moves!

But remember, only 1 active trainer can Dynamax. So it will not be difficult. Likely only the host can Dynamax. 🤷🏻♂️.
Terastal on the other hand, that will be cooler since every player should be able to use it.
Then again, this is Niantic. I doubt they will alter the Raid that much to display Dynamax effect on players side. Meaning, best to not expect too much from them. 🙄
The list of ancestors seems a bit stacked, a lot of gym leaders, champions, and elite four. The ancestors we got in Arceus wasn't solely Gym Leaders, Champions, Elite Four, Evil Team Leaders and Professors. We got Ancestors for characters like Darrach, Charon, Mars, Saturn, Wally, Marley, Cheryl, Mira, Hop and Leon.
Then you have roughly five ancestors with descendants in different regions, Charm/Agatha, Lian/Clay, Beni/Wally, Laventon/Hop&Leon, and Sanqua/Karen.
I don't know about you but I am definitely expecting ancestors for Shauna, and some of the flare scientist (Celosia, Mable, Aliana, Byrony, & Xerosic)

If that happens, Pokémon GO is trying to make it's players like Ash Ketchum to make up for screwing the players avatars/trainers making them look ugly. Also, I don't play Pokémon GO. Lastly, I think underground catacombs should have nothing but Ghost type Pokémon in it.

don't know why fans are looking at XY for hints for Legends Z-A. I think they are just reaching for things that are not there. Rumor is fake. Not every mega will return - Hoenn starters and legendaries won't be in it because they are more tied to Hoenn. Online battles will not happen as Legends Z-A is not a pvp game. Flygon isn't getting a mega evolution. Jynx never had a mega evolution so nothing was scrapped. ZA will not be on the Switch 2. Pokemon Presents will be in August.

Even if all three kalos starters get megas, greninja still outshines the other two given it's the second special form he's getting
Similar to how Charizard got more special forms than Venusaur and Blastoise did with two megas and a gigantamax form
