    I used to train my fist on trees pipes and walls, I stoped doing it for almost 2 months and I'm starting to feel my fist again, props to this dude who trains everyday

      @@aztechnology7996 wear gloves if not give your hands a rest for 10 minutes or more and make sure not to do it so hard i also practiced iron palm and fist but more fist

    Morio Higaonna graded my two senseis in the mid 90's. Said their standard was exactly correctly taught and rehearsed. They proudly came back saying this to us. We were aso glad to knwo that we are taught the correct way of Okinawan Goju Ryu karate.

    Some say there is no such thing as toughness when it comes to physical training, they claim toughness is only mental. But this training is definitely physical toughness. Resilient to damage. Bone density. Calloused feet and hands.

      Kyokushinkai Karate which is a combination of Shotokan and Goju Ryu and that toughness is from Okinawa and Shaolin Kung Fu.

      ​@@halfers83an embellisher who was a propaganda piece. The students are all better than him but they don't train lethal apications or condition the same as the okinawans. They have the fighting spirit though and are for sure tough. Their competition style was appropriated from goju ryu no holds barred fights.

    When I was active in Karate Kyokushin, I feel my both knuckle hands is become hard. I remember practices in 1 session, just sit together n hit the floor, n that floor is same like aspalt in a road. After that, tomorrow all our knuckle is not feel anything anymore when we hit something. This is true story.......

      My cousin used to punch the wall. One day he punched too hard and his knuckle got fractured. 6 years later now, his knuckle has gained additional solid bone mass and is very hard.

    My master made us condition this way. The pain stopped bothering you after a while, the stiffness in my hands the following day made typing at work pretty difficult.

    i do this all the time and its effective. although i don't know for everyone. im not a karate practitioner but a muay thai. but i believe it hardens my hand. so don't try this if you think its too dangerous or too unhealthy and also if you are weak willed. There is a saying "Before you can break someones body you must first break your body first" NO PAIN NO GAIN

    With every hit on the stone the bone uses Calcium to get a harder structure. It's the same with Bodybuilding to build new muscles you need to train hard to force the muscle to build more muscle fibres. When an untrained pesosn would hit the stone as hard as this guy several times his bone could break easily.

      The tolerance and hardness of bone etc is built up over decades. A beginner would start hitting softer objects and build up from there.
