@@OwlbearRodeo I didn't know!!! 😮😮😮 this is absolutely fantastic! thanks a ton 😍😍😍 From what I see it works LIKE A CHARM on smartphones! both in terms of functionality and display (perfect aspect ratio for a smartphone) I also see that it supports the PWA protocol so it can be saved in a separate window as an app on both smartphones and laptops 😍 wow thanks again! this absolutely made my day 🥰🥰
Glad that this is so useful for you! ☺️ It's an open secret that almost all the OBR extensions can be run as standalone websites, although some of them don't make much sense outside of the context of a game run inside our VTT! 😆
The 'Hide Roll' option works the same for everyone, so a player can't use it to hide a roll from the other players but still make it visible to the GM. There are several other dice roller extensions that community members have made - some of which are derivatives of this one! - and those other options may have a private roll feature that can be shared with just one other player (eg. the GM).
1:55 .... when you selected 9d6, but wanted to select 8d6 instead -> Wouldnt it be nice, to just have to click the other Mouse button to decrease the Number of selected dice ?
We try to be as mobile-friendly as possible, and touchscreens don't always have a second 'mouse' button, so it would not be mobile-compatible to do that 😉
This specific Dice roller doesn't support exploding dice, but its source code is available to 'fork', so that other system-specific features may be developed on top in their own variant extensions (as has been done a few times already). I believe that at least three of the other dice roller extensions for OBR currently support exploding dice.
That's not on our list of features to develop, because it would be functionally the same as the GM rolling privately on behalf of the player. However, the code is publicly available, for community developers to make their own variant dice rollers with different features like that.
It would be possible for someone to take the publicly available code for this Dice extension and 'remix' it for different rules (some people have already done this for other game systems), but we have no plans to add support for other rules/mechanics to this one. There are also several quite different dice roller extensions that community members have made and shared, some of these can be found in the official extension webstore, others have been shared in the OBR Discord server (link in the description).
With this particular extension you can't make a roll that you plus one other person can see (it's either private or public), but this is also an open-source technical demo that several other community developers have used to create their own dice rollers, which have additional features - you can check them out at extensions.owlbear.rodeo/tag/dice 👍
This is genuinely the best dice rolling tool I know; I also use it when I play other games
Yes, it's available as a stand-alone website at dice.owlbear.rodeo too (just without the roll-sharing between players in the same OBR Room) 👍

Amazing work!
Beautifull interface. Always looking forward to more videos. Your native dice tool has improved so much! Excellent work.
You guys are AMAZING!! One question, can a player make a hidden roll that only they and the GM can view?

What about dice explosion for Savage Worlds?

You are doing Tsathoggua’s work. Do you consider adding a dice tower feature, where the player(s) can’t see the result of their roll but the GM can?

Is it possible to implement other rules? Like the boon and banes mechanic of Shadow of the demon lord?

@@OwlbearRodeo thx for the answer, I will check this
What if I want to amke a roll that only DM will see?
