I love the tourismo. Seems like such a smooth drive
Very smooth; quiet, cruise control, decent retarder & heated seats.
Merrily drive this daily.
Love this kinda stuff 😎
Thank you friend. Upload truck videos already
Great video, good to see you're still driving. Hope youre well and enjoying driving the busses. glad you're uploading again
Thanks man
Haha i watched this video for about 5 mins and kept thinking you drive so similar to the binman i used to watch, like the hand movements and waving etc. Then checked your channel and realised it is you!! Glad to see you back on the road 😄
Thanks for returning man, glad you enjoyed
Awesome vlogs keep them coming
Planning doing my cpc early next year
Thanks man, you have a licence already then?
Initial CPC or a renewal of one that expired?
Hey this video of driver a bus. It look really cool.i could watch you for ever
Thank you
@Pounds4Hounds91 np your welcome.
Nice one mate
Thank you
I heard that Mercedes is bringing the Tourismo to the US Coach Market, which is exciting.
Interesting, decent vehicles to drive in my experience.
Awesome
Follow j Wang and his main channel/motorcoach world first one in America bought 2 and go to turkey see the factory
Last few times I drove local council Duscarts rounds are getting more properties added for the amount work as a driver loader doesn’t pay enough! They also use split backs so 1100-1300 bins + same amount food kaddies Gonna do my class 1
Much what I was experiencing, days getting longer and housing estates getting worse with crowding. What should be a simple job but lots of hurdles put in the way.
Being a dual purpose role doesn't help either given the responsibility and hard work that goes in we are looked upon as scum.
Bet its smoother than driving a Dennis bin wagon ( and it'll smell better too )
100%
Admittedly the Dennis did have an Allison gearbox so the shifting was utterly seemless but the Tourismo is a good deal more comfortable & quieter.
Know you can’t voice anything whilst driving in certain circumstances but you should do a voiceover in the edit. Love your positivity and upbeat vibe! Great video nevertheless!
Thank you, far too kind
Love the new tourismo, feel like they have really nailed the interior desiging.
Is that suspension on this thing a bit stiff? Cause it sounded like it when you went over those bumps
Interior is very smart on this model, being specified as a touring coach rather than a commercial one.
Suspension makes lots of noise but the air suspended driver's seat irons it out. Haven't been a passenger so I can't comment but the saloon seating is decent and adjustable.
More plez
I'll do what I can
is the coach work any harder than the bin wagon stuff? regardless your driving looks very comfortable. also by any chance have you driven any coaches with the volvo i-shift in em?
My coach work is somewhat brief so far, have to be conscious of overhangs and swing. Similar to HGV size concerns.
I much prefer buses to HGV, always dif I was just kidding myself trying other things.
I have driven an i-shift. Would've been 2016 approx, it was the "old" Volvo coaches on the X30 Stansted Airport that First Essex used to run. Pictures and fleet numbers are available on the internet.
Driven a couple Volvo trucks too, decent auto boxes on them.
@@wheelerd02 those big front hanging mirrors look like fun, although id imagine greater safety benefits.
having ridden a coach with the i-shift a few times now i must say it is quite a smooth ride? are there retarders built in with the break pedal on them because whenever they slow a very audible but satisfying high pitched noise comes from the back, although id imagine australian models differ from the UK in some aspects
@@yeahno8969 big mirror require keen attention with oncoming large vehicles, hedges and street furniture.
I do seem to remember the retarder only working with the foot brake applied on the Volvos. I much prefer separately operated retarder to manage my speed.
Have you heard of transport fever 2 it has loads off busses and modes of transport, I have the game and its super.
Also bin lorres at 5:12, 6:23, 6:30, 6:38, 7:33
I have not heard of it no. I don't keep up with games anymore. Haven't played for a long time, I have nostalgia to look back on.
@@wheelerd02 fair enough, hows the buses?
2:53 the traffic lights have 4 bulbs????
Proceed ahead & Right turn have seperate lighting cycles due to crossing traffic
do you not work the bins anymore?
Left over a year ago
@@wheelerd02 oh how so? ive just got a job with the council as a loader
@@thirstybonsai1888 had enough of it man. It had run it's course I wanted to try somewhere else. Much happier now
@@wheelerd02 i just recently came across your channel so didn't know. how long you do it for?
@@thirstybonsai1888 April 2019 - March 2022. Tried a couple jobs in between but came back a couple times.
