That Carnation Instant Breakfast jingle (starts at about 4:51 on this aircheck) is the same Johnny Mann Singers that sang all the 93/KHJ jingles during this era. They did a ton of commercial jingles, too.

Thanks for making this golden nugget of American radio available - we got nothing like this in the 60s, all our listenable radio came from radio ships such as Caroline (the BBC were hopeless and very MoR). I'm very grateful for a chance to hear this.

Are you kidding? Compared to US radio, Luxy was positively pedestrian, packed with old announcers. It was much better than the BBC, but not a patch on any hot-rocking, flames-throwing, jumping jocking stuff that most younger folk prefer.

Wish you guys wouldn't edit these airchecks so tight. Airchecks that came off the KHJ skimmer were NEVER this tight. And adding your branding to the MIDDLE of an aircheck is just too much.

Today I sent a message to RUclips asking them to loosen up their copyright policy. According to generally accepted “fair use” policy of U.S. copyright law, 7 seconds of audio is the standard.
