Outer Space Themed Obstacle Course | Sensory Integration & Occupational Therapy

We are blasting off 🚀 in February to the last great frontier! Here is an obstacle course that combines sensory integration and occupational therapy goals into an outer space adventure with space walks and aliens! Obstacle courses can promote a variety of gross motor and praxis skills.
This obstacle course, in particular, emphasizes linear vestibular input to improve postural alignment, equilibrium responses, and regulate activity level. Additional benefits include: motor ideation/planning, proximal shoulder strengthening, visual motor coordination, and pretend play.
