    Sweet, to be frank, I wanted this over the 25cal airforce Talon, the talon only shoots pellets, so you can imagine, When I crafted 257 slugs they did not fit in the rifle, not did any of the mods work for it. But this beauty, Will be the next in line for my set, as I wish to buy one. But I kinda want to see it with an extended barrel so I can use it for range, and a longer tank for more shots, and of coure regulated.

      Im excited to see what we can get out of it. Not sure ill mess with an extended barrel. But definately an extended reservoir.

      I have the TalonP with 1.01 liter tank and all I shoot is the Apolo slugs (33 grain) very hard, Also the hunter supply 48 grains do very well.

      Agreed. The funny thing is we couldn't hear that ping in person, we only heard it when we got back to the shop and listened to the video.
      The rifle is actually very quiet.
      But i wholeheartedly agree with you.

    I loved the 357 mdded you did for me, and I definately adore the 457 beast you modded for me. I use it all the time. Blow back is a little rough since the orings went out on the load, But I compesated that with an eye cover from the scope that flips down thus blocking the air kickback. Maybe someday Ill replace the orings but im lazy and the rifle works great.

      Lol. That oring is not too hard to replace and you're loosing power.

    Good vid! Just bought a M357, not sure if I’ll get the M257 or 457 next. Putting in an order with you for barrel supports, latest depinger with carbon plenum, and power spring next week for the M357.

    Man, this is awesome. I’m so glad they came out with the .257 of the Bulldog! I’ll be down in your neck of the woods next month I need to drop off my old bulldog with you see if I can. Have you put a seal kit in it for me. Looking forward to seeing you soon buddy great work on the prototypes! 🤙🏼😎

    So I'll wait til you make a Pitbull 257, with extended reservoir.
    Note that my 357 Pitbull with 150gr slugs (the NOE 358-152-HP-CF4 which shows a gas check but you use it without one) shoots much tighter groups than your getting with the 257, so that's somewhat somewhat disappointing on the 257.

    If this power house of an airgun came with a regulater I would have bought it yesterday.

    SWEET! I have the Taurus .357 bulldog. I own several airguns (17) and she is my favorite. she shoots quarter sized groups at 300 yds. A hopped up .257 would be nice for predators around the farm. which Florida seems to have an overabundance of. I use Mr. Hollowpoint slugs. there is no better.

    Thanks for sharing. By the way . . . why is it so important for you te generate a bell curve?

    • @pitbull_airguns
      @pitbull_airguns  8 месяцев назад

      Well without a bell curve, every shot will be a little less powerful than the shot before. But with a correctly tuned rifle, you will get at least a few shots within a certain speed or energy level that are the same or very close to being the same. I can explain further in detail if you like but it basically boils down to better accuracy.

    Whats the failure pressure of the stock air tube on the Bulldogs?

    • @MegaCyberleader
      @MegaCyberleader 8 месяцев назад +2

      just speculation but once it drops under 200 bar, it will probally fail, like my other ones do.

      I don't know. I've only tested my reservoirs, and they failed at 14k psi.

    We where getting close to 30 shots with the old 357 now the new one gets only 5 is it posible to get more shots with the m357 or is it possible to get one old ones

    • @pitbull_airguns
      @pitbull_airguns  8 месяцев назад +1

      We are probably talking about different things.
      Yes you can probably get 30 shots but there is a big difference in the shots I'm talking about. Im talking about the shots you get in the yop of the bell curve. Or rather the about of shots you can get that have the save or close to the same speed.

    Unregulated PCP, only 3000 psi, 68gr slug 880fps, no thank… too old school.

      I would really love to hear your thoughts on what rifle you think is better and why.
