- Ralph Lauren RRL, Ralph Lauren's brand founded in 1993 offering a mix of selvage denim, vintage apparel and accessories and cool, rugged sportswear with roots in workwear and military gear and Blitz motorcycles, a Paris-based custom garage founded by Fred Jourden and Hugo Jezegabel in 2010, that conceives, customises and hand finishes motorcycles to create unique, one-of-a-kind machines, Presented The Ralph Lauren RRL Riders Tour in Paris.
On Sunday, May 25th ran the first custom motorcycles ride around the RRL universe. 200 motorcycles rode on 99kms, with a departure from Paris, and during 3 hours, paraded and popped in at The Dampierre Castle , La Vallée de Chevreuse, and Versailles, and ended in front of the Ralph Lauren flagship store, boulevard St Germain. There, the RRL vintage universe welcomed all these beautiful 2-wheels pieces of machinery fanatics in a cool and authentic American ambience. The St Germain boulevard became a huge luxury garage, where all the participants gathered, and benefited from the "Bike Clinic" for cares and polishings.
This tour was proposed to all the custom motorcycles passionnates, through a registration on the dedicated website www.rrlriders.com, which selected the most beautiful motorcycled, eligible to compete and make this event the rendez-vous of the year. #RRLriders.

I don't think anyone riding was wearing any Ralph Lauren. Definitely see the Barbour/Belstaff otherwise British influence. Nothing really "American". It's really just a copy of Ride of Gentlemen(not Race that's totally other event). Just another company trying to fit it the handbuilt bike craze.

What's with all the haters? Enjoy seeing cool bikes? Enjoy riding? Any excuse is a good one. Old bikes are more fun and more engaging than modern ones, it's simple. Talking about who are real bikers, 1%ers and kicking their asses and all that crap, how unnecessary. It takes effort, enthusiasm and love for the machine to run old bikes like these that you won't find off the peg in any bike shop, especially Harley shop where people buy a whole 'cool' lifestyle (or so they think).

Not impressed. Most of these lads are NOT wearing any proper safety gear or any armour except piss-pot helmets. A 40kmph spill in jeans can all to easily mean loosing a leg or 6 months of unbearable pain from road rash. Impressionable kids seeing this will now be jumping on bikes trying to look cool rather than wearing gear that saves lives!

lol, yep, you're right, I admit I was also a stupid MF when I was these guy's age. But that was due to lack of education, lack of proper gear on the market, and most importantly there was no money in those days. These twats have no excuse, each of those bikes are worth more than both my bikes put together, and the cost of their fashionesta RL clothes would armour a Norman war horse and feed it for a year, not to mention education on bike safety is freely available. The really sad thing here is I'm old enough to know the cost of a Norman war horse and feeding it for a year.. ;)
Most of the riders have protective gear if a little vintage and the blitz guys at the forefront who you noticed didn't have protective gear on, they were only doing it for RRL to promote the clothing range..They wore leathers for most of the journey..And no one was hurt on this tour..All sensible riders just cruising..most of those bikes find it hard to reach a ton..All in good fun..No boy racers

I have a 1979 BMW R45 myself and this clip is inspiring!! Too bad not many people are in vintage bikes! They are so much nicer and more rewarding to ride on and not that more expensive to run!

i don't like the way modern day motorcycles look. the bikes of yesteryear look like real bikes. they had personality. if someone gave me a racing bike of today (most of them look like racing bikes to me anyway), I'd have to make it look like a real bike. you're right, Mr Wright, the ones today don't have anything at all. they don't compare to the bikes built in the 50s through the 70s. After the 70s, I just don't know...haven't paid much attention to them.yup, vintage rules.I only say that cuz it's the truth.

avec le plan anti-pollution pondu par cette très chère Anne Hidalgo, c'était la dernière balade moto dans Paris. A partir du 1er juillet 2016, les 2-roues motorisés immatriculés avant le 01 juin 2000 n'auront plus le droit de circuler dans Paris. Et ce n'est que le début puisqu’après, ce sera au tour des motos et scooters d'avant 2004 puis d'avant 2015. Va falloir vous mettre au vélo les gros !
