Your inner critic is your worst enemy! It can be overwhelming at times and you may find yourself feeling paralyzed by its judgment. For example, if you're trying to write a blog post or article, your inner critic may tell you it's not good enough and that no one will read it. This can be incredibly disheartening and lead to unhealthy perfectionism.
Or have you ever tried to take on a new hobby only to be stopped in your tracks because your inner critic said it was too hard or you weren't good enough?
Or even worse - have you ever had an idea for something that you wanted to do but your inner critic said it was a bad idea or too risky?
It's important to recognize the power of your inner critic and understand how it can be destructive. The best way to combat this is by talking back to it.
The first step is to acknowledge the presence of your inner critic. Acknowledge that it's there, but don't give in to its demands. Recognize that it is only an internal voice and not necessarily reflective of reality.
The next step is to challenge the inner critic's beliefs. Ask yourself if they are really true or just stories you're telling yourself. Is there any evidence to support these claims? If not, can you come up with a more balanced perspective?
Finally, take action. Once you've identified the inner critic's thoughts and beliefs, come up with a plan to address them.
I've known my enemies from a young age - my parents and extended family. Then the fears and doubts they instilled I me. I fight my fight every day against my own limited thoughts. That's the big one for me. Contentment is not one of them. The other day I pulled out all the tangible evidence of my accomplishments - a best selling book, a top award from my industry, a spirit label I helped to create, a bar/glassware line, looked at it, and said "I am not content with this" I MUST DO MORE. Then proceeded to work til I dropped at 3AM.

Not enemies, but I have former multimillionaire friends who didn't want to help me out (not hand out but actual help) even though they are in a position to do so. I consider those events as one of the greatest and pivotal moments in my life, and it has given me a endless supply of motivation and energy.
They were afraid that you might pass them up. I find that outside of if you’re lucky, your parents. No one is every truly going to root for you, except you. Everything in this life amongst people is a competition, everything. It’s why I walk alone.

I’ve worked out that one of my closest friends is my enemies. Whatever I tell him I want to do he makes and excuse for me not to do it. I told him I wanted to learn to speak Japanese he said it’s impossible, I’ve been learning by myself for 8 months, keeping it from him and now able to have a basic conversation with my teacher. That fat little shit of a friend won’t stop me from getting after it, I will grow in the shadows. Family, friends sometimes it’s the closest people to you who are the vermin under your floor. I hope everyone here proves there enemies wrong.

This has to be peak before collapse because we are becoming incapable of think or say anything that wasn't spooned in.

I can find my enemies through that list, especially the last three. I choose my enemy to be the rulers/goverment/matrix (name it as you want) because, apart from myself, I can't find a stronger enemy to beat. And I'll do beat them by being all the things they don't want me to be. And I'll make others eventually better than content with a simple life. It's not my goal, but it's the way for me to reach my potential. May God keep my heart beating and may I know Him from within. Greetings from Greece as I'm still poor and constantly improving!

My thoughts exactly. My uncle thought he was a god when he convinced my grandfather to give him $750,000 and made promises he never intended to keep. Seeing the family fight over money as a boy to a teen was intense. Which is why I don’t think about money the same way as the rest of my family. I vowed to myself that I’ll make $750k look like absolutely nothing!
Many of my workouts are fueled by the fact that iv never had a dating life. Just about every crush or girl I liked, rejected me. So I use that as fuel for building muscle.
My neighbors thinks against me on money quite a bit, so I’m determined to prove them wrong.
